Loki is pretty much done teething, his upper canines and molars need to cut in a bit more, that is it.

On the left side his upper puppy canine is retained, it is not obstructing the new canine, but is not loose, the new tooth is still coming in straight and where it should be, and the other tooth seems to be migrating but not loosening. He had the same thing on the other side until he snagged a tennis ball and it removed the other (slight fracturing on one side of the bottom, but the piece was not retained in the gums, nor has any issue occured from this, it was about 3 weeks ago)

I have heard a bit about retained baby teeth before and I should just get it pulled sometime correct? I understand if it were obstructive this would need to be done sooner, is there anything to worry about here?

I don't know how common it is, but Molly's baby canines didn't fall out until the adult ones were almost completely in. Unless they start to affect the growth of the adult teeth, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

Have you had Loki neutered yet? I know with Molly's vet, they were going to pull any retained baby teefers when we took her in for her spay surgery. Just something else to consider.

Loki is such a cutie--congratulations on picking out a fantastic Valentine's day present! :o)
Loki is not neutered yet, I am waiting on him to be fully grown and such. I have no issues with marking indoors and whatnot, and want his growth plates to close properly. (also don't want him to get all bigger due to eunuch effect but the 2 are rather linked). Probably fix him at 11-12 months.

Thank you for the insight on the teeth. His bottom ones had fallen out before his canines ruptured (albeit they held on quite well, one for about a week with completely liquid movement). I'll just keep an eye on it as I have been.
