First Snow

Penny's first experience with snow this morning and it was sooo funny! She put one foot out the door and pushed the snow with her paw and started barking at it...she did that all the way down the stairs. She wanted to come right back in but I coaxed her back outside...then she Frapped around the yard barking like a maniac. The best part though was when she jumped in her pool...well it was frozen...she stood on the ice looking at me and then back at the frozen water under her with this confused look on her face...suddenly the ice broke and in she went. I swear she jumped 3 feet straight up in the air and came down about 3 feet from the pool...she made a beeline for the door and ran in the house...the look on her face was priceless! I can't wait to see what she does with a couple feet of snow and not just a couple of inches! LOL

My Barkley loves the snow. He ends up getting the "zoomies" all around the backyard. After about 15 minutes of "zoomies" my backyard looks like a racetrack. He also loves when he is running for me to encourage him...its soo funny to see him kick it into another gear.

Penny is too cute...I wish I would have seen her face.

I think this is hysterical and have shared it with many dog people. Sorry you don't have a video, but frankly I can just picture her face from your description and it just makes me giggle. Thanks for sharing.
