Well, it has been 24 hours since her spay and she already seems a lot more like herself. I gave her her pain meds this morning, since she was walking around with her back all hunched up along with a light breakfast (her first meal since she has come home). I already can tell that we may have problems keeping her quiet and keeping her from trying to jump up on the bed and couch! She also has the odd ability to be able to scratch her belly with her back leg, so I have to keep an eye on her constantly to prevent her from getting to her stitches!

Please keep us posted on how Paisley's recovery goes. I'm going to have to spay Beulah around Christmas and I'm not looking forward to it, despite not really knowing what to expect.

They grow up so fast! Paisley got spayed today. She is a little over 6 months. She is very sad and sleepy and pathetic today, but we will see how the recovery goes. The vet even said, he is pretty sure she is going to be a big baby and may need her pain meds for a couple of days. She is only 13lbs though. I guess she is going to be more of a lap-sized corgi for easy cuddling!

Edward got neutered last Wednesday at 6mos of age!! He is doing pretty good, but keeping his activity limited is proving to be a big challenge. I will be so glad when he is all healed up and done with his recovery!!!!

its nice to know that im not the only one who deals with a crazy pup when cleaning! zoe barks at everything! the mop, the broom, and the vacuum!

Rocky is so cute! Gracie chases the vacuum around when I vacuum. Any kind of motion or movement I do when cleaning, sends Gracie into her wild mode! I don't know what it is. I guess she doesn't want me to clean! :)

What do you do to keep your puppy occupied when you are trying to do housework?
