Here are the corgi mobiles we've had over the years:

Nissan Xterra - Too high for ours to jump on, the front seat is fine, but it's impossible for them to jump on in the back seat. Very nice cargo space, but muddy paws can be a problem.

Lexus ES300 - Leather get scratched up, the tan color interior does help to "hide" the fur, cargo space is a joke, cannot fit any wire crate in the trunk. Good height for the dogs to jump in.

Lexus SC300 - Rear seats are perfect for the dogs, no human should ever sit back there, it gets really really hot in Florida summer, right height, very heavy doors.

Toyota Matrix - Awesome plastic hatch area, wipes down easy, you can use a garden blower to blow out the fur, rear hatch glass open, wire crate fits in the back, plenty of cargo room, great on gas. nice height for the dogs.

Toyota Sienna - very roomy, can fit the doggies plus family and cargo. Not so good on gas but definitely ride in comfort for everyone, especially road trip.

Now what do you drive? How corgi friendly is it? Lets hear the pros and cons :)

I drive an 09 Mustang GT which is low enough that Oppy has no problems jumping into it. Hilliary on the other hand drives a Jeep Wrangler. Needless to say, he can't jump into it (although he tries to jump out). I always cover my leather seats with a towel or blanket so he doesn't scratch the leather. He loves making corgi nose art all over the windows and dash though.
i have a diesel truck. he cant get in it but he knows to load up so he helps me. its roomy so he can look around and i have keyless entry so i can leave him in it real quick with the ac on!
When I have the boys & people passengers it's either the Toyota Tundra or Acura MDX. Steve likes to stick his head out the back window of the Tundra (people driving behind me waves at him all the time). The bad thing is I have to carry them up and down each time.

When it's just me and the boys it's the Mini CooperS convertible (since June) and it's been great. It's the perfect height for the short corgi legs to easily get in and out on their own. They love it when the top is down (of course they have a harness so they are safe)! I should post some pictures.....
I drive a Mitsubishi Galant - Gonzo can jump into it, but my god does his fur collect everywhere! I try to vacuum it but it's so much work. He sits anywhere in the car, it's all good for him. He can easily get from the front seat to the back, as long as the center console is closed. There's a lot of trunk space too! Oh, and I also have a remote start on it, so I can leave it running with the A/C on without the keys :o)

My husband drives a Ford Explorer. He's taken Gonzo it in once or twice, but I don't like it because he never cleans it, so there are lots of food and candy wrappers/crumbs for Gonzo to get sick from.
I don't have a car but my Mum has an early 90's model Mitsubishi Magna (we're looking to get a new car soon). Po can jump into the front seat (though he's not supposed to). When he's going in the car we say 'In the car' and open the back door, Po just goes up and puts his front paws up on the seat and we lift him on. Seat space is okay and enjoys hanging his paws over the edge of the back seat. I always say how the arm rests on the door seem to be made for a Corgi as they are the perfect height to put his paws on so he can look out the window!

We learned that he should always be harnessed though as when he was a puppy he was free ranging it on the back seat and jumped up onto the shelf behind the back seat so he could look out the window!
I drive a Nissan Altima and I've never had a problem with the dogs in it. Theres plenty of room even if theres a crate and because I have the cloth seats, theres no ripping. Kari's hair blends in with the seat anyways but shes not a shedder. The car is low enough that they have no problem getting in and out, even little Jackson. The windows are nose print magnets but thats nothing new.
I have a Mini Cooper and my rubenesque older corgi can jump into directly onto the passenger side seat. They're actually fine to slide behind the seat and go to the back. At first they weren't sure what I was trying to get them to do. I've fit a lot of stuff in that car. 22 pumpkins. 12 shipment boxes and a shoe rack. a 5ft christmas tree, but that one was hilarious.
oh mini, my dream car...
I have a corgi sticker on the back of my Sentra :)
Seriously, I think my car is corgi friendly because it's low to the ground and Shiro can jump in and out without any help. Cloth seats are easy to wash and vacuum, sun roof.
