First of all, we would like to thank all the members who've submitted photos and purchased the
2009 calendars! We had a great success and have raised over $1000. We have donated $700 to
Sunshine Corgi Rescue and have since saved $300 for this year upcoming partial printing cost. (yes, we fronted all the printing cost last year) We hope to sell even more calendars this year and to help other rescues around the country. Now that we are a 501c3 non profit charity, we have more ways to save on shipping and printing cost! Lower production cost = more money goes towards different rescues.

Well I live in California and the mailman came and went and No Calendars for Christmas. Maybe you should ship them UPS or FEDEX. You order and they are at your door in a couple of days. They could have been driven across country twice in the 10 days, that it has been since they were supposedly mailed out. It is not good business, when so many were purchased as gifts in plenty of time for giving.
Catherine, I too share your frustration, I don't have a copy for Christmas either. What you've stated is true and makes perfect sense.

We did not choose ups or fedex this year because usps offer a non profit organization bulk mail rate, the decision was chosen because more money we saved means cheaper calendars for everyone and more money goes towards the rescues in need.

The printer company handles the fulfillment this year and they promised me the calendars will be delivered by xmas via USPS, their word is all i have and when the calendars are in the bulk mail system, we can only go by the official word from USPS.

There is no reasonable excuse for such delay and I am sorry that my incompetence have ruined xmas for everyone, please accept my apology.
Noo, Sam, it's not your fault! It's the printer that was responsible for shipping, they are the ones that dropped the ball, or maybe the USPS is considerably slower with bulk mail. I've never sent anything by bulk mail, so I have no idea how long that takes. Since somebody already got theirs, I'm sure the rest of us will get ours tomorrow or Monday.

PLease don't feel bad! My Christmas is going just great, and I sincerely hope the rest of the mycorgi folks are having a peaceful holiday filled with love and corgi kisses.
It's not your fault, Sam :( I'm just anxious to get mine, that's why I keep asking! Have a great Christmas!!
Ok, this is just madness... the mail has already come today & NOTHING! I'm in California, so I'm not sure if there is some huge storm on the East Coast & is holding up shipments, but c'mon... it's been 2 weeks since they shipped! I know it's not Sam's fault, and it's not even the printer's fault (since people in FL already got theirs)... but really... 2 weeks??
Laura and Lola if you read below, someone received a calendar with no holes in it, which means they have to punch the holes in order to hang the wall calendar. Now, I would say that is the printers fault.

Sam, put this in the hands of what he believed to be a professional printing outfit. He should definitely not have them do the calendars ever again and he should tell them why. Also, he should let us, the calendar buying public, decide whether we want to pay a little extra and get the calendars in a few days, not a few weeks.

I ordered things at Overstock, Amazon, Ebay (the Big Boys) and from much smaller sellers, right before Christmas, I am talking 3 days before and everything I order came before Christmas Eve. If anything, a non-profit, coming to a printer and the printer knowing the non-profit status and knowing where the money saved is going to, should do everything they can to put extra-special service on such an order and to then turn it over to the government run mail service the printer is taking a Big risk.

And as I said before in one of my comments, I can hardly wait for government run Health Care.
I have already sent my message to Sam, wishing him a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I also suggested that next year we have the choice of paying a little extra for the calendars, so they may arrive on time or the cheaper, far less efficient, government run snail mail. I can hardly wait for the government run health care.

I wish everyone at MyCorgi.com a Happy and Prosperous New Year!!!
Well I'm feel kinda bad that I got mine already since I didn't even order it for a XMas gift. I just wanted one for myself. The most important thing is the money that was raised for the rescues. I think that's fantastic. I don't think anyone's XMas was ruined. Sure, there might be some frustrated folks out there. But don't the holidays always include a fair share of stress??? LOL.

Merry XMas everyone! and Happy New Year!!!
Sam --- Please do not feel responsible. It is out of your hands... I'm very grateful that these calendars are made available to us with the additional opportunity to be featured in them! I had the calendar from last year and I think ours are better than any you can find in the stores... these are corwyn from our community!

I can't wait to get mine for the next year! :)
Happy New Year!!!!
It isn't your fault Sam...I just can't wait to see it! I'm sure the weather could have had an impact for some parts of the country! Has this printer been used before???? I'm actually glad mine wasn't sitting in the mailbox during our storm!!!!
Is it just us, or was anyone else's calendar missing the hole to hang it up with?
Did you say your wall calendar has no hole in it? I definitely think MyCorgi.com needs to change printers.
