okay, well little bear was born april 15, 2007. he's little over 10 months old and he's TINY! he weighs, on average, around 22 pounds. he's plenty healthy and looks fabulous (vet confirmed he's perfectly healthy; over concerned mama over here), but every other corgi i see? sheesh... my mom's is like 30 pounds (in little bitty corgi bodies, 8 pounds is a LOT) and my friend's corgi is like 40 (he's old). and they're both tall! he still almost looks like a puppy.

so how big is your little person? i love how little he is, though. just gotta add that. he's just that much more cute...

louis is the same! he turns 1 on march 21st and he's 20 lbs... perfect health and everything... I heard that corgi's can come in all different shapes and sizes, and I personally like that he's small.. mines a tri too..maybe it's common between tri's? =]
Our Gusbus is 1 1/2 and only 24 lbs... and that is after he put on a bit of weight in the winter (less running outside when there is so much snow!). He has always been little but also perfectly healthy. The vet is always pleasantly surprised at how fit he is! Gus is also a tri... does anyone know if that is common among tri-colored corgis?
My tri is 5 months and like 17 pounds, hes going to be a big guy. He is really fit and not fat just really wide. smae with Megan, she is 30 pounds. Abby on the other hand is a lot lighter, she ways like 12-13 pounds and is 5.5months
hmm.. so 4 tri's all small..maybe it is a common thing??
Chloe is 5 months and just got checked at the vet today. She is 14.7 lbs. He said shes in perfect shape.
Charlie is 8 months old today, and 20 pounds. His body shape looks like his mother. She is a short, long and lean sable. His dad is a stocky muscular 28 lb black headed tri.
The size of your corgi depends on his parentage. It may be connected to the tri gene. I don't know much about that. I've seen tiny fawn colored corgis. One at our corgi picnic was about 15 pounds at 9 years old.

Since we are talking pembrokes, Pandora is about 25 pounds. I thought she was going to be much smaller, but she did get a little larger between 1 and 2 years. Remember that your pup can keep developing until 2 or 3 years.
Well it is not a "tri" thing for sure. You are merely looking at how the genes played out. These small guys are cherished companions in the agility ring!
I have a one year old sable and white Pembroke and he's been 22-23 pounds for a long time now! I wondered if we got a runt too, but I know he's still developing into his "dog body."
Bindi was born on april 10th of last yr and she is also small (about 20 lbs!)
My Emmy is a Tri... She will be two in June and weighs in just under 20 pounds. Same thing... vet says she is the picture of health and a great weight. Her parents were both tri's, and they were both on the small side too.
Mine are both around 30 lbs of muscle. They're both sturdy little sausages. Most people mistake them for fat though since they're kinda barrel chested. Especially Ein. I always thought he was a runt but he's 2 now and finally grew into his body. Just give it some more time-if he doesn't get bigger I'm sure it's fine. Some people are short and some are tall they're just different is all.
