We have had our Corgi, Zeke for a year now and my husband has just added number two a little girl.  I wanted to know if many of you keep your Cogis outside.  Zeke has always been and inside dog, but now with two I wondered how they would do outside together on occasion?

On nice days, my dad comes and picks mine up and lets her spend the day in his yard, which she loves. But she's usually in and out of their house all day long. She loves playing in the yard with their dog, but she generally prefers being where the people are. So yes, we'll stick them out back together for a few hours at a time if it isn't too hot or too cold, but generally speaking, she isn't what you'd consider an "outdoor dog".
I can't have a doggie door since I live in the country and other "critters" might decide to try out the luxury of indoors! I just came back from a walk along a fence line with the boys and they had a great time. The only down side I see is that my guys get so dirty that i have to hose them off every day around 6 before they come inside for supper. they are really used to it and will stand still for me to hose off their feet and legs if muddy.

Hot weather means they are outside only very early and late evening. they certainly prefer to be with their people but seem to have a great time together outside. Maybe a single dog would be more bored outside alone.
