i moved out from hayward and moved into san jose area where the 880 and Brokaw intersection is at. im looking for the best vet for my boy. and recommendations?? previouse vet discontinued Giardia Booster Vacc. and couldn't get that one yet.
I use Santa Clara Pet Hospital (Dr. Littlehale) 408-296-5857. I have use him for years and we just love him. All 6 cats and 1 dog. Also, if you are looking for shots? I recommend the HSSV humane society in Milpitas CA. It's pretty cost effective if it's all you need. Check out the privite dog park. It's pretty cool.
I personally use Evergreen Veterinary Clinic (www.evergreenvetclinc.com) for the cats and the corgis. BUT my cardis are pretty young still (one is a bit under 3 years and the other a bit under 2 years) so I've not needed them for anything but basic stuff for the corgis. I can't say one way or another if they are especially good with corgi issues. They are NOT cheap ... but not the most expensive I've run into. The work they've done with me and my cats, one of whom had to be referred to an oncologist and had a LOT of work, has been very good. I'd try to see Dr. Amaro - he's one of the two top vets there. I always go to see either him, or Dr. Barbara Lee.
Evergreen is right near 101 and Capitol.
Good luck, and will we see you at the corgi meetup in Mountain View tomorrow? :)
