peoplea re funny with the corgi breeds... I have my rescue girl, and her tail was never docked.. too funny what people come up with for her! And she is such a total PEM except for the tail and her porky the pig syndrome at the moment LOL she really looks like a classic girly red headed tri that someone sewed a tail on LOL but people dont know what to think when I have her out with the other two LOLOL am forever explaining she is a pem:) just has a tail:) have even had people ask if she is some kinf=d of beagle mix LOLOLOBEAGLE??? why the tricolor maybe???hahahahaha I have never seen a dwarf legged beagle LOL

well Cindy I think northern Mn should get a shakeup then in the cardi dept!!LOL Don't have to be the breeder to show the dogs... maybe put a few of the "people we know" in their place up here in the future?? NO?? LOLOLOL ( ok ..avoiding putting my foot in mouth on the sublect..) but would be weriously interesting to give some of them a run for their money !! GO foggy bottom cardis!!!LOL lookout show world here we come - the dirty dozen.. I know some people we could shock with some carefully planned shows Cin!:)))))))
Candace, how are you doing? I am thinking of you daily:(( Came across a couple of pics of Jon kids recently( in my travels and research) and OMG of course sad tears for you:( Glad you have the others around to comfort you:) and I am guessing the move keeping your mind busy.... know we are all thinking of you:)

I'm still getting to know folks really but I think my boy was owned by Donna Caldwell at one point referencing the show record that came with him. He was bred by Leda Thompson who isn't that far from me now but shows in the area quite a bit. I don't "know her know her" but see her quite a bit at the shows.

Oh--well yeah, that will get you a few more. Sharon shows some, but not a lot recently. She's had a lot of dogs over the years and done pretty well for not being in the breed long. And the other, well, I'll leave it at that before I stick my foot in my mouth.

I know Donna Caldwell shows up in that area some, some of the KC people head down and then you have the Okies and Texans--now there's some competition!

The area I am moving to actually has a few more Cardi people there, Sharon Nottingham and I think Ky-Lea is down that way among a few others. So maybe there will be a few people that have seen one before,,,,maybe.

I get that with Eddie all the time because he's so coated. Is that a mini aussie or an aussie mix? He's blue which doesn't help. But yeah, it's a pain.

We have a large cardigan group down in my area-Eastern IA and Western IL. Up in MN it's centered around the cities then SW MN with a couple of breeders.

Cardis are rare around here too, the two that I've acquired get all sorts of remarks out in public "part border collie?" "part Aussie?" Oh is that a new mix breed?

Ugh. A mix breed my hiney.

Right now we are keeping the black brindle girl-Luna. She's turning out very nice-very girly with just enough bone. The red brindle boy is super cute, attitude and fun, but he's a little stuff in the neck(like his great grandpa) and a little short in the body. Plus I have a feeling he's going to be too big.

Alec like's Drew aka Whitey or the boy with the right white ear. The three brindle boys-Charlie, Adolph, and the other full blaze boy are nice. The 1/2 blaze boy is nice too. The b/w boy is tiny, so we think we will pet him out. Ziggy's not bad but going to be built a little more like Russ.

It's hard right now--so many nice features on them all and yes, we are going to grow a few of the boys out a little longer-4-6 mos before we make a firm decision.

At work today--wish I was at home. I finally fell good enough to do some work rather then sit with the heating pad, watch moves and change laundry on occasion.
