Just a quick question. Cricket is almost 3.5 months old. She seems to be starting her teething stage. I'm curious as to if puppies pant when teething? She's been panting all day. It's not hot, she's not thirsty. I'm just worried. Any help to this question will be wonderful. Thanks guys.

Pain can cause an increased heart and respiration rate. There are some other causes at this site.

Neither of my dogs panted during their teething stage. If she keeps it up I would maybe call you vet and ask their opinion.
I was going to say that you might give your vet a call....seems like if it is pain, it is way more than she should have from her little teeth and I am a worrier where the dogs are concerned also.....also, silly as it may seem...my corgi gets hot so easily and actually loves pretty darned cool temps in the house (seriously a little cold for humans, but we kinda like it cool...she prefers around 65F to be specific....if she starts to pant, I know I need to lower the temp a little......) The other thing I have read and noticed about my corgi is that if she is nervous or a little frightened, she pants like crazy....don't know if she is in a phase of being scared of something but you might keep your eyes open for that. She is adorable
I agree, calling your vet is a good idea. Most vets I know will discuss issues with you over the phone for free. If they think it is serious, they may ask you to come in. I call my vet all the time, they say they love answering questions over the phone so that simple things that can be prevented don't turn into serious issues that require a visit. Even though it makes them money, your vet would rather you have a healthy dog than come in to see them!
