Winter in Montreal Canada gets really cold; this year I hear an especially cold one is coming our way…

I was looking for boots and I came across these: Bark'n Boots™ Polar Trex™ (see website below or picture attached)

I was wondering if anyone used these before or if anyone has any recommendations for some good corgi boots.

Thank you all,

Viola and Mia

It's harder to shop for corgi booties :) After some trial and error, I've concluded that good booties are all about the straps design, Muttluks are made in Toronto and Canada tested :) Pawz are cheap alternatives. They are not easy to put on and will take sometime to get use to.

Try and walk Mia in fresh deep snow, stay away from packed snow or sidewalks with salt, it's the salt and slush that causes the gaps in between her paws to freeze. Musher's secret also helps. When you notice Mia starting to lift her paws, use your fingers to clean the salt and ice. Always wear non slip shoes / boots and check your surroundings before you pick up her #2, an excited dog + iced concrete sidewalk is no fun.
those look like really nice boots in the link and Sam has given you some good info. but what i can say is i dont recommend the pawz boots. reading the reviews and witnessing them first hand is they are like balloons on there feet and cant breath and always stink. a friend my mind rip hers with in ten minuets of having them just trying to get them on her dogs feet and like i said they just look like balloons lol
Thank you Sam and Rebecca for your help :)

I think I might try the Muttluks. Winter here is pretty terrible. I live on a busy street and we often have very icy sidewalks; it will be pretty hard to avoid… I'm sure Mia will appreciate having some bootees on her little paws :D
your welcome, im glad i could help out =o)
Hi Viola!

Yes, get some boots!!! The salt is AWFUL for their little paws :( That coupled with the cold make for a hard winter sometimes. We got some cheap ones since we have a lot of little paws to cover but they were ok. They strapped on tight so they wouldnt fall off. Make sure you have the camera ready to capture the corgi booty dance!
Maybe I had some bad boots, but Bucher thought I was nuts and hated them! In Northern Wisconsin the temp can get very low so I thought the boots would be a good idea. Bucher thought he was paralized and not at all happy with me. Good luck with the boots, and have a camera ready!! :)
