Well Today, with Ace in tow, I went over to my Aunts house for the day. I asked her previously if she would help me make some cookies for christmas presents, since well the longer i work at my place of job the lower income i seem to have >: so no chance at fancy presents like last year. I set Ace down on the floor to play with Jettson and Pebbles at noon or slightly after and they played well into 5-6pm When we finally got home around 8-9pm Ace ate his dinner then passed out under the computer table poor guy hasnt moved since. Except for potty time. I feel he will actually sleep through the night.

He's been sleeping outside his kennel the last couple nights since the weather is fickel and my room is chilly and there is a nice heater in the living room. His kennel is upstairs in my room and so if I dont go upstairs neither does he. He has marked a spot as his sleeping spot in the livingroom.. if it isnt ON ME.. its on this old bathmat mom gave to the dogs. =)

Ace has also started becoming a hoover vaccuum again eating everything on the floor.. I think its simply out of Im bored ill chew on this.. instead of on his 50 billion toys he has lol..

the dog park we have here in town is quite boring there is never any dogs there whenever we go we see them leaving usually when we are there... makes me sad cuz Ace needs other dog interactions.. its rare he gets them.. I mean yes we have Buffy but she DOES NOT want to play with him. Dont blaim her though no 14 year old dog really wants to play with a 14 month old pup.. especially if that old lady is arthritic though she does like to tease him by stealing his rope toys lol

Got Ace and Buffy some chewies for Christmas as well as brand new rope toys..

I think the next thing i need to invest in is a little toy box or basket for all of Ace's toys and bones lol

On Another note.. i love satsuma oranges... but ace thinks he needs them too... Im not sure if oranges are good for dogs so i havent let him have any.. I let him sniff the peel but he wants to lick it and stuff..

Also Ace's license is leaving his pretty white neck all grey and grungy I dont wanna keep buying the whitening shampoo cuz i just know deep inside that cant be good for his coat or his skin But i dont like it turning his neck all grey either >: anyone else's dog license do that?
ALSO after Christmas Ace is getting Microchipped. He doesnt ever run off from me but just incase somehow i lose him i want him to be able to come home..

I also think ace has an upset tummy over something he got into so im keeping an eye on him he has had pooing issues the last couple of days

Thanks guys for the info~
Ya we didnt have this problem until he started really wearing his name tag.. its stainless steel but im not sure the rings are... so I'll do some investigating =D
Oh and John Ace wears this really nifty light weight collar that has a stretchy band on it so i can hold him with just the collar its really nifty for when guests come over and you have a Door dasher of a pup LOL and his name tag is pretty ligth weight but heavy duty ifs got a life time warenty on it so if his name starts to fade i can send it in to get re sketched

And Jane I think im going to go see the prices of  the rings tomorrow when im out and about =)
His liscense came with that little S shape ring thing and im not sure if its that or if its the o ring on his name ID

Aluminum tags stain.  So does cheap steel.  You want all stainless-steel hardware.  Even D-rings are often cheap plated metal.  trouble is, the engraving machines in pet shops are usually just for aluminum -- stainless steel is very hard metal -- so they'll have a hard time engraving your phone# and info.

Make the collar as light as possible, too; I see collars on small dogs that would hold a cow.  They carry them all their lives.  Aluminum stains but it is lighter.

Hey Jen... the liscense grey is from the ring...go get a small stainless steel ring from by where you buy keys and you will never have this problem again. They use cheap metal on the rings you get with their tags...especially the rabies one.

Making homemade gifts for Christmas is a great gift...I used to do this all the time...it will be appreciated:)
