Sorry.  The date is set in stone. It will not change.

It has already been approved by the Friends Forever Animal Shelter board.

I remember last year how much discussion and argument went on about the date and the location. I did not want that to happen again this year. So, I contacted Kim.  Kim helped me plan and set the picnic up last year.  We picked a date that worked for the shelter and us.

Sunday makes it a little tough for me as well. That is a 3 1/2 hour drive for my family and my husband and I have to work the next day. 

We moved the picnic back to October this year because the Wisconsin Corgi Picnic moved theirs to the same weekend we had the Illinois picnic last year. This way the 2 Corgi picnics will not be too close together and people can attend both.  I am looking forward to going to both these picnics.

is there anyway to get it on a Saturday cuz getting home makes it late and especially since will have to work the next day. Plus I think we would get more people on Sat to come.

Looking forward to another great Corgi Picnic!  We had a graet time last year at Freeport and we collected a lot of donations for the Friends Forever Animal Shelter.
