15weeks! :)
im sorry for the delay on new pics of dollar and baden but i have been a very busy corgi mom stuffing as much socialization of new things that Baden would encounter through out his life and i very happy and proud to say that this boy is not afraid of a darn thing. he LOVES other dogs! every time he hears one he must go say hi. the other day we walked around an out door flea market and there was all sorts of farm animals. he went right up to a horse and laid down between its feet! he then went over to a goat to say hi and it charged at him (it was tied up) and he took a step back and then sat down with a wagging nub LOLi must say this little guy is really growing on our hearts:)
we went on a small hike and he really LOVED that! so did dollar as she loves to mark everything lol baden always had to look back to be sure i was keeping up as i like to take my time. he also got to go swimming too! he had a blast running up and down the lake as teddy did *(wiping tears away)* i got the perfect pic of him falling in though, his face says it all lol
an update on Dollar is not such a happy one. the previous owners before our breeder, use to abuse her so now any fast movement she runs and hides. she also has severe throat damage due to them using a choke chain. she must wear a harness for the rest of her life due to it :( she cant breath hardly and if she tries to breath through just her nose she grunts and snores, struggling for air and she always panting. if u use one i would invest in getting a martingale collar instead, it tightens but not enough to cause damage.
BUT i hope u all enjoy the pics! :D

thank you. the little guy was getting to tired so my hubby had to carry him. the entire time he had to look at me to be sure i was keeping up LOL
shes in good hands now thats for sure but i still feel so bad for her, poor girl didnt deserve what happened to her. the really scary part is the original owners only had her for 3years. thats a short time to cause all that damage to her

Dollar and her Mini-me are adorable!!!!! Great pics, too. That's horrible about what happened to Dollar in her 'previous' life! But she's in the best place she could possibly be now.

aw thanks, shes living the good life now with nothing to worry about. we call her "the old retired lady" as shes so happy to just lay on the couch with u and get lots of lovings

I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering what you all have been up to. Glad to see everyone is doing well. I just can't get over how similar Dollar and Baden look and they are just adorable. I'm glad Baden likes to swim like Teddy. Sorry to hear about Dollar's throat, but we all know she is in a very loving family now and that she will be protected. Give the babies hugs, kisses and belly rubs from me and corgi kisses from Noodles.

Great photos and I always love to read your updates. I was wondering about Dollar. It's true that you can do a lot of damage with an improperly used choke collar and harsh corrections, yet I've seen a lot of dogs survive this kind of abuse without the damage you describe. Damage is usually to the larynx. Why are the breathing passages of the nose so affected that she can hardly breathe with her mouth closed? Could she possibly have a secondary issue affecting the nasal passages? It may be worth digging a little deeper. Sometimes there are two things going on and the more obvious one clouds the second issue. Just food for thought.

i understand what u mean as i wondered the same. Debbie, my breeder, gave me all of dollars medical records and at 4years is when her vet confirmed the damage. it literly left an indent in her throat. its not straigh like how it should be. to get a second option after i adopted her, i had my vet look at her and he also says its damage due to a choker.

As a show dog I wonder if she survived a fall off a grooming table?? That would be similar to a choke collar injury. Most people know better than to leave a dog alone on the grooming table but it can happen.

thats something i did not think of to be honest and its an idea but Debbie did say they always used a choker but it still can happen

I am not disputing the choke collar explanation, nor the fact that the throat has permanent damage. What I wondered is why the sinuses, or nose passages, are involved in this picture.
