anybody own a swedish vallhund and a corgi?? Want to own a vallhund soon, want to make sure theyre a good match

Hellooo all. I was wondering if any of you own a vallhund with your corgi(s)? My boyfriend really loves the history and look of the vallhund breed. We have read alot about them and Corgis being a great match, but I was wondering if anybody has owned one with their corgi and if what we are reading is indeed accurate. Thanks!!

I just got an email from a Vall breeder and she did have Pems before getting Valls! Interesting!
I've considered the breed too. There is a breeder in Oregon who has Corgis and Swedish Vals. You can check out their site: http://c-myste.com/ and even if you do not decide to get one from that breeder, you could at least get in contact with them and ask your questions regarding them being a good fit with a Corgi, training etc.
I have a corgi and a vallhund, but they have not met yet. My husband and I have been apart because he is in the army. He got me the vallhund for valentines day and they are waiting for me to move down there with the Corgi in two weeks. I am very excited. My husband thinks they will get along well. We thought the vallhunds were cute because they look like corgi wolves. We have named her Lissie Lowe, she came with the name Lissie and we added Lowe which means little wolf. I hope what you read is accurate, makes me feel better about adding a vallhund friend for our corgi.

What a cute puppy! Please do keep us informed on how the corgi and vallhund get along with each other!
Oh how beautiful! May your next two weeks go quick! Love the name...We have Livvy but always call her Livvy Lou!
Awww, she is so cute. My husband and I like Vallhunds for the same reason, they look like dwarf wolves. Keep us posted on how everything goes with your new buddy. I'm sure we're all interested to learn more about the breed.
oh man. now youve done it. we have to own one now. lol
Rory the 4 year old Corgi and Lissie Lowe the 4 month old SV met this morning. Rory was shy at first but for Lissie it was sister love at first sight. They have been playing, running around and napping all day together. I think it will take Rory about a week to feel perfectly comfortable having another dog around her that also belongs to her people.
Awwwh, I am jelous! Good luck! I am glad for you that it is all going great!
Good to hear that, you must post some pics of them together!
I actually contacted a SV breeder and she did have Pembrokes before her Valhunds...
