My fiance and I are really want two puppies but are having trouble finding in our state. We found a breeder on breeder.net in another state. We need some advice how to navigate. Any help is appreciated.

I started here. They are mostly in New England, but there are listings in New York and New Jersey. You want to find someone who does health screenings. It may take some searching and a long wait, but it is worth it. I was on a waiting list then got an 8 month old from the same breeder. She had kept two from the same litter and decided the other had matured better for showing.
Good luck
I started the same place as Marcie. Both mine are from Crystal Corgis thru Heronsway (they are partners) and are based in MA. Mine were not puppies tho when we got them.
As others said, generally a reputable breeder will not place two puppies at once. They tend to bond to one another instead of you, it's twice as hard to socialize them properly because it needs to be done individually, and siblings sometimes do not get along well (especially females). I'd start with the breed clubs and go from there.
Correct.
Most reputable breeders will try to dissuade you from doing this, or flat out refuse. And they should, for the reasons you stated above, obviously.
Two pups is more work, more money, and I forget where (maybe here) but someone said two dogs is all the time, effort and cost of your one dog...tripled.
Two puppies would be adorable, but you have to consider every angle, as well.
Breed clubs are your best bet, or if you're looking for slightly older, maybe some rescues? Maybe then you wouldn't get litter mates?
