Any advise to stop the chewing? Max is teething and he has chewed the drip system in the backyard.. He has a bunch of toys and chewies. Just not sure why he insists on chewing the expensive stuff. :/

Hi Kim, at 5 months, Max should be supervised at all times, if you cannot watch him, put him in his crate. Make sure his physical and mental needs are met everyday, walk him on leash 45-90 mins rain or shine, backyard free roam doesn't count. Good luck!

Murphy's Law= he will always eat the stuff you really don't want him to! Puppies have a knack for picking the wrong stuff. Increase exercise, give him kongs with a little cheese or peanut butter smeared in them and don't let him have much time on his own until he is much older. Minimum one year but two is better.

I agree, at that age he really needs to be supervised all the time.

Bitter Apple spray!! Works wonders; Charlie took a liking to my patio door blinds; bitter apple all over and no more!
