Wow Tauna, you found a corgi? How amazing is that. Is he/she staying with you? Hope you find his home!
Yes,Geri... she is staying with me and kota at an aunts house .. for a couple days.... then if I don't find the owners... turning the dog into rescue in nampa that john wolff told me about.
Thank you for helping a corgi in need! You are right not to give out too much info...never thought of it!
I found the owner. They said they don't want her anymore. She doesn't get along with the other dog they have. She is not house trained. She marks a lot. She had puppies a while ago. I'm going to take her to the rescue john told me about tomorrow. I can't keep her for any length of time.

:(

Glad you are taking care of her, but her original owner ought to be ashamed.

Totally agree. They didn't really seem to notice she was gone. And she was waaay skinny. Sad.
I contacted kathleen mallery here in idaho. She wasn't there. Was told they will have her call me back when she gets home.
That makes me sad the owner is so uncaring. Didn't even notice... gah! Hopefully when she finds her forever home they will give her the love an attention she deserves!
I wish I could take her. She is so sweet. I called the pound back to let them know I found her owners... then they said some disturbing comments about the family and place where she was. Glad I found her and knew enough to say I could take her if they didn't want her.
Thank you for rescuing her...even if it's just to get her into a good rescue program.  I absolutely despise people that think animals are just desposable beings.  I can't imagine just throwing out one of my kids if I didn't want them anymore.  My grandfather said "life is a great equalizer", and I can't wait until karma catches up with them.
Indeed! I do not buy that they did not notice her missing line. I think they dumped her somewhere just to get rid of her. Some people are worse than the animals they own...

Puppy episode in CH. 2 of "The Great Gatsby":  Myrtle impulsively buys a puppy on-sight from a street vendor with an armload of puppies for $10 (1920).  Her man hands the vendor the money.  "Here, buy yourself another 10 puppies".  Like a puppy is a pack of cigarettes or something.

You must be emanating the right kind of vibes; this dog found you.
