Does any one else's corgi do this random breathing thing?

Sometimes Drag will do this breathing thing like hes not getting any air. Its like his nose it stopped up and the air is blocked. He only does this for maybe a minute. Its random and usually happens when he's asleep. I thought it was a bad dream. He did the breathing thing last night longer than Ive ever heard him do it. He makes this terrible noise with it and his tummy goes in and out. What do you think?

Mine do it too. I have seen many corgis do it at dog shows and the breeders say they got something in their nose(dust etc). They just put their hand over the nostrils to block it and make the dog breathe out of their mouth. Apparently it is common and no big deal.
Maybe he's just snoring?
It's reverse sneezing. Sidney has done it a couple of times but Bruce does it a lot. I've found that if I stroke his neck/throat area in a downward motion it goes away quicker. It sounds awful but does not seem to bother the dogs much!
I've also found that if you cover their nose for a second it will stop! :)
Eddy does it every day at some point.
A reverse sneezing. Momo does it too. When Momo does it his puppy age.. It freaked me out and I even record it with digital camera and took it to his vet. When it is occur, I did same thing as Geri & Sidney does.. actually I stroke(not hard)& massage the chest under his neck and throat area and it's getting better.
My boys do it once in awhile and it was quite scary the first couple times I saw/heard it. I gotta try the neck stroking next time.
Thanks everyone! i looked it up too and found out it is quite common in Corgis.

Thanks for this post! Fawkes does that too when he sleeps. I thought he was having bad dreams!
