OOPS! New here and posted my question in the wrong area. Anyone have suggestions as to how to make my 4 month olds eat faster??? See my complete post in Regional. THANKS!
Beautiful babies! Why do they need to eat faster? When I had only one I just let them eat as they wanted. My thought is that it's better for them to take their time than to gobble it up. Just my opinion.
2nd thought...are they finicky or did they just start this? At 4 months they could be teething and if you add about 1/2 cup of warm water and let it sit and soften ....they will gobble it up. If they are teething their gums will hurt like 2 legged babies do when teething.
Thanks for the thoughts. I just want to be sure they are both eating, and not one more than the other. I thought about the teething situation too, but they have been doing this since I got them in late September. I'll just keep an eye on them. As with everything with puppies . . . Patience. P.S What a beautiful brood of corgis you have!

I can't seem to find your original post...
As far as picky eaters, I put the food down for ~20 minutes or so, and if they don't eat it I pick it back up. Eventually they will figure it out. A healthy dog will not starve itself next to a full bowl of food. If you have two dogs you may need to separate their feeding areas, or put them in their crates to eat.
