I wanted to ask a question regarding the privacy settings and tried to find a contact email address for MyCorgi.com, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. It's probably there right under my nose but after 1/2 hour of searching all around the sire, I'm ready for help. Is there a Contact Us for the site?

mycorgi.com@gmail.com or you could contact Sam Tsang by messaging him.  I don't know if this will help  you...but to get to privacy settings click on settings...and then click on privacy and you will have several options.

Thanks Natalie, I had found the settings, but had a further question about them that I wanted to ask.

No Problem

Clicking on About at the top gives more info. I wish the FAQ had a technical section on how to work the site.

So have a laugh.... I did go to About, as well as FAQs, and found this:

Contact
MyCorgi.com(boop)gmail.com

I copied and pasted this in my email's address. Of course, I could not send the email, so I went back to the site and looked for other places where a contact might be listed. The end of the About section was the only place I found.  Now, I know a fair amount about dogs, but little when it comes to computers, so if the address is MyCorgi.com@gmail.com why not list it that way, rather than with (boop)? I even tried to google " boop" to see if it meant "@" with no luck.

I would also recommend putting the contact info in a more prominent place as well.  I may not be the only computer stupid one out there :-D

(boop) ? What the heck is that? I kinda wonder what you found when you googled (boop)? I use the computer a lot, much of the time with a not-so-user-friendly program (Pet Point, anyone?), so I know it is always just one little thing, one tiny letter or box to check that brings you to a total halt. Then some one helps you out and you are SOOOO embarrassed ! It helps if the people you ask for help are friendly and forgiving and willing to laugh at themselves.

As we say around here, there's one in every crowd, and sometimes it's your turn :)

@ Julia, SOOOOO well said, I certainly relate :-D

Trust me you are not the only computer stupid one...I am at the top of a long list my kids tell me!

Bev, I'll fight you for that spot!

:)

It's a common practice to leave out the entire email address on public websites because spam bots will recognize them and get them and send email to them. Hence leaving the @ part out, so the bots don't know it's an email address. Some people stylize it as "name[at]email.com"... in this case he uses the "boop". It doesn't "mean" anything, it's just that the missing @ is implied by the "boop".

So just use that email address with the @ in place of the [boop].

Had to laugh Anna...I'll join your group "computer stupid owners"
