So....I’m just exhausted! Moving really stinks!!!! We just finished the move into my parent’s house, in a newly remodeled mother-in-laws suite, to help care for my parents. It is a big adjustment for all. Sally our rescue if having the hardest time! Living in the basement there is a lot of noises; my father uses a walker and is very loud. He is hard of hearing so the TV is LOUD! It is a very busy street and lots of noise from kids in the neighborhood. The fence is going in Monday, so I hope that will help with Sally feeling secure and me not worrying about the busy road! Is it normal for her to have such a hard time when it comes to going #2? We have had her outside lots, I even have been up walking her at 3am because she is restless and it’s quiet out then. This morning that didn’t even help her go! Yesterday was a very stressful day because the builder was here finishing with lots of noisy things. I took her to work with me in the morning (she had a loose BM at work) and then had to get the carpets clean at the old house, so she was with me there waiting for the cleaner to show up. The builders didn’t leave until 7pm so we were upstairs with my parents waiting for them to get done. Should I keep taking her out or just let her let me know when she has to go? I’ve been worrying about messes on the new carpet!!! Does anyone have any ideas? I know exercise would help lots, but she is so scared of everything!
