Hi there,

Once again, I'm probably over-thinking my little guys' behaviors but I am concerned. Lately my boy Milo seems to be getting more insecure. He keeps trying to climb into my lap and sometimes when he does, he sits there shaking and panting. I can't seem to soothe him - has anyone else seen this happen with their pups? If so, is there anything that can be done/anything I'm unaware of that I shouldn't be doing?

Thanks!

Is the other dog the aggressor? Give him a safe place to call his own or crate her so he knows he's not being punished for what she is doing...is he more sensitive? Maybe one out at a time till this get solved. Poor buy!!!!! Separate with a pet fence or gatewhen you can't be watching?

Yeah for sure the other dog's the aggressor. We had one instance with the boy attacking another dog at the dog park over a ball and I wondered if it was kind of like he got so sick of being pushed around, he took it out on the other dog. He's definitely more sensitive.

Is there something causing his anxiety? Can you give us more info? What is going on before this happens?

That's the thing - nothing that I can see seems to set this off unless it's related to the other issue I posted about - his jealous sister. Unfortunately, the last couple of years have been really stressful in general in our household, due to unemployment and family issues, so maybe the little guy's finally just snapped. :(

My husband and I never fight or anything, but I'm sure the pups can feel how anxious we are.
