Thank You to everyone who has been following my discussions about Lance and giving your support.

It is getting easier, seeing him improving and just talking about it.  I am learning/trying to take things day by day.  Here is a card my mother in law sent to Lance:

Tucker has been very patient waiting for Lance to get better so they could play again.  Tonight, Tucker really was trying his hardest to get Tucker, to play, but  Lance wasn't interested.  :(  Tucker even gave a big AROOOOOO....so cute!!! Nope, no dice.  I am hoping that once Lance is off of the steriods he will want to start playing again, like when Tucker first came here 4 months ago, (March 6th)!!!  My other hope of course is that once off the steriods, we arent faced with something else to make Lance not feel good.  Anyone have any advice about what to expect as far as things going back to how they were, as far as Lance and Tucker playing again?  I also am hoping that Lance wont decide, that he just doesn't want to play with Tucker anymore or for some reason doesn't like Tucker :O  I know I am really thinking too far in advanced, my biggest downfall.  I really am trying to take it day by day, but sometimes its hard not to think about the big picture or what ifs.  I guess this is what goes through ones mind after only having Tucker 3 months and then having one get sick for the last month that his buddy has been here.

I could go on and on with all the tons of pictures I have taken of Lance and Tucker over the last 4 months, and alot of them laying next to or near each other. I will stop here.  : )  I just can't  help but to take pics and more pics.

Thank you so much for the update on Lance, Natalie.  I can't even imagine that Lance, when he's up to it, will not play with Tucker or not 'like' him....I can't imagine it.  I wish I had some sage advice, but I don't.  We think often of Lance here at Kingdom Korgi and send healing wishes his way.  I'm sure he'll be romping again with Tucker as soon as he is able.  You're like me....outthink things.  Nothing wrong with it (in my overthought opinion ;-)  ) but sometimes it's good to take a step back, take a deep breath, smell the kibble (or visa versa...depends on the kibble I guess) and,  most importantly, have faith in your pooches.  They deal with this kind of stuff WAY better than we ever can.  You've done everything possible and Tucker is there supporting his best bud.

I absolutely ADORE that picture of them both close up to the camera.  They are gorgeous dogs and Lance's face just brings me joy.  And Tucker, too, he's got that old soul expression.  Beautiful dogs.

Your Welcome, and Thank You.  Im glad Im not the only one who over thinks things.  Just having Tucker 4 months today (well now yesterday), and not having two dogs before, brings lots of questions to begin with and then to throw a curve to it, brings even more questions.  I wish I was better at being more creative with my writing.

Hanging out together if you're not feeling 100% is good also. I feel that when Lance is ready to play they will:) Pics are always good of coarse that's from another one who can't stop taking pics....keep em coming we enjoy them!
Yes, I am happy that they are able to hang out together and keep each other company, Im not sure, if I have any more shots I can get of them laying together, that I havent already, lol.
Hi Nat, what kind of steroid is Lance on currently?
Hi Sam,  Lance is on Prednisilone.  20 mg a day.  Half in the morning and half at night.
I'm so sorry to hear that, Prednisone is what I called a "zombie" drug, it makes a BIG difference in mood / everyday life, it took me a good half year to 9 months to feel normal again after weaning off it. Be patient and positive, Lance will be back to his old self again :)

Yeah, he definatley has his zombie moments, still has energy to bark though at certain times, lol.  We will be patient and positive while waiting for Lance to feel like his old self.

out of curiousity, is 20 mg a day a big dose?
Yes, it is the second highest dosage, 50mg is the highest and 2.5mg is the lowest for tablets, 5mg for syrup.
they are too cute looks like they are best buddies to me :) lance laying next to tucker because they cant play is too cute :) hope he is better real soon , big hugs to you all :)

:)
