Hey guys! Kenny has thrown up twice today. First time it was just yellow and foamy which is a sign of possibly being way too hungry. So I feed him some apples and he went on his merry way. Just a few minutes ago he threw up again. Inside of it was some apple pieces, mud, green something, and I believe some tiny pieces of woodchips.
What is going on? Will he be ok?
I am going to supervise him the next time he goes out and even have him on a leash.
Thank you guys

Most likely he just ate something he couldn't digest and hacked it up. What I do when this happens with one of mine is wait an hour or two after they vomit, give them one biscuit and see if they keep it down, and if they do give them about half their normal portion at the next meal time (or if they threw up a whole meal, about an hour after their biscuit) and then start feeding them normally again.
Some dogs with sensitive tummies need more intense TLC, but this schedule always works for mine.
Agree with Beth he probably got rid of what was ailing him.
It probably was something he ate, but you should monitor him to make sure he doesn't vomit so much he becomes dehydrated.
This happened to Kaylee after eating something bad and vomiting 5 times in a 24 hr period. We went to the vet and she gave her a shot (not tablet) to prevent further vomiting. We withheld food for 24 hrs before beginning small portions of boiled chicken and rice over the next few days. Everything was fine, so it probably isn't a big concern.
Wally threw up twice after I gave him a cooked bone, which will not happen again. He had diarhea for 2 days after but with a regime of boiled ground beef and rice he's back and running. His stool went back to normal on the third day. I wouldn't worry but you might need to stop feeding him for 24 hours. I tried for about 12-14 hours with Wally, just gave him a few frozen green beans and ice cubs to chew on.
I think the apple might have been a bit harsh on a troubled tummy. Apples would be a little bit acidic and hard to digest. A small amount of chicken and boiled rice might be good to start off with when you resume feeding.
