Our Sophie just went to her first Vet appt and she weighed in at 6.4 # she is 9 weeks + 2 days old.  I know not all dogs are the same but I was wondering if anyone kept track of their puppies weights and those that weighed about the same as our Sophie, how much do they weigh now as an adult?  Her mom was 25 pounds, not sure what the daddy weighed.  Not that it will matter, what ever she is she is, but I was just curious.

Basically, he was gaining a pound a week until around the 20th week when his weight gain started to slow down. According to the breeder, Bento's parents are on the bigger end of the corgi spectrum--he'll be around 30 - 35 lbs.

Jack weighed around 8 pounds at 9 weeks. The litter ranged from 6.5 to 9.5, with most clustered around 8.  He's big and goes around 35 pounds as an adult.

I can't recall exactly but both of mine seemed to grow about a pound per week for quite a while.

Ollie (male red & white PWC) was around 7.5-8lbs at 9 weeks.. now he's 1 yr 8 months and is at a perfect size of 21.5lbs as he runs on the more petite side and I keep him pretty lean with exercise and grain free Wellness Core Ocean  once he was done with Wellness Puppy.. he's in perfect health and looks like a million bucks!!

Prie (female red & white PWC, same parents as Ollie) was 6.2lbs at 9 weeks.. how she's 9 months and 16lbs (she was the runt of her litter and we knew she'd be a mini-corgi).. she is gorgeous and full of enegry all the time and they had the same kibble and are now both on adult kibble :)

I also got Lucy at 9 weeks. At our first vet visit, she weighed in at 6.2 pounds. Now at 7 months, she is a healthy 16.5 pounds at last week's vet visit. I too am curious as to how big she will get, but I think I have to wait another year or so before I will really know.

Thanks for the responses its nice reading and anticipating the future :)

Stopped at the vets office today to have Sophie weighed she is now 12.5 pounds and is 5 months old.  So I am thinking she is going to be a small girl, which is just fine with me :)

DouBao was 6.6 when she was 10 weeks old, and 12 pounds when 14 weeks old.

I don't think she is fat 'cause I can still feel the ribs (and the vet confirmed she was in nice sharp)

I read a corgi book about how to see whether the corgi is in the good sharp: You should feel/find/touch the ribs, BUT CANNOT COUNT them --- If so, he/she is good.

Hope this helps:)
