I bought Peggy an edible Nylabone today for her to chew on. Within a few minutes, she consumed the entire bone. I was surprised because this thing did not seem easy to chew through.

I'm worried that she ate this too quickly and may get sick. Am I just being overly paranoid? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

She may get the runs but she should be OK. I've had a lot of dogs decide that they're a lovely snack, and I don't feed them anymore because of that, but I've never had a dog get more than a little loose stool.
Oliver can eat an edible Nylabone in about 10 minutes. Decided then and there that they cost way too much for a snack. :)
Thanks to both of you for your advice. Agree that these cost way too much for a snack that only keeps her busy for a few minutes! And yes...she did get the runs...
Nylabones became "snacks" for Walker also! And not only are they spendy, but if to many are consumed they can gum up and cause a blockage in the intestine!! Pig hooves are an amazing thing! I get Walker the ones filled with stuff, and the last him for months, and he LOVES them!!! Plus they are healthier for them :) 10 mg of Pepcid AC (what your looking for is the Famotodme as the main if you want to go with generic) both morning and night for 5 days can help clear up any stomach upsets! This was recommended to me by my vet cuz Walk gets upset tummys every now and again, and it works like a champ!
My girl can go through one of the large dog Edible Nylabones in a matter of minutes! The first time she had the runs. But after so many times she's gotten used to it. I try to remember to catch her before she eats the whole thing. But since she loves them I still buy them one occasion
