We are actually going to try out the Alameda small dog park this Saturday -- we haven't been yet (we usually go to Cesar Chavez). We should be there about 2 p.m. if you'd like to have some corgi playdate time :)

I know that there is a corgi group that meets on the 4th Saturday of each month at 1:00 PM at Cesar Chavez Park, in the Berkeley Marina. You should check out the sfcorgi yahoo group, they post all sorts of corgi meet ups. I live in the far east bay so I haven't had the opportunity to participate but they sure look like a lot of fun.

Hi Folks! there's an ad in craigslist where a corgi needs a new home. a 3 year old corgi living in Orinda/Lafayette/Moraga. I would love to adopt him but my apartment only allows 1 dog. Hope someone here would give him a new home. Spread the word. Here's the link:

Bowser is officially in San Jose. It's unfortunate he isn't completely vaccinated yet since he is only 11 weeks. He would love to make new Nor-Cal Corgi friends in the area when he is ready though.

Reminder - meetup this Saturday at Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View (10 a.m., small dog side)! This is our 5th Saturday meetup. I will NOT be bringing Ms. Crystal the Brat this time, just Frodo. I'll bring her more once we've worked on her NOT nipping at the other corgis. :) See you all there!

Hi Everyone, I sent a message to the SFcorgi group but not you guys are getting it. There is a Corgi at the HSSV in Milpitas. Here are some details. Bella Boo spent some time with him yesterday and he seems pretty layed back. He's not cat friendly so that leaves me out since I have six of them.

Thank you so much for taking the time to talk to me about Teddy yesterday! Please see his photos attached. Teddy is 5.5 years old, neutered, and adorable! Teddy's guardian had to surrender him because her mother was ill and she had to leave over seas. Teddy has an owner history of being possessive over his food and toys. We have seen that behavior here as well. He also did try to snap during his vet exam. Teddy is very sweet and loving most of the time. We are currently working with Kathy Miller of For Paws Corgi

Rescue to see if we can find Teddy and experienced Corgi "mom" or "dad" that can work with him. He is not officially up for adoption at this time, but I would be happy to speak to anyone experienced who might be interested in fostering him/possibly adopting him. Please feel free to give out my contact information if there is someone in your network that might be a good match for Teddy.
Thank you!!
