Just reminding everyone that it is the 3rd Saturday, so we'll be at the Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View, small dog side, at 10 a.m. this Saturday!

I may or may not be there with Frodo - I just got off a plane and spent the last two weeks traveling and training people for work. No promises - if I'm too beat, I won't want to get up at 8:30 to take Frodo to go visit with corgis! If I have the energy, I'll be there! (but if you don't see me, I'm sleeping!)  :)

My little girl just had nine beautiful puppies last night! I am so excited for her! She did such a great job! But nine was WAY more than we were expecting! :-) I can't wait till they start developing their little personalities!! I'll post pictures soon!!

All,

I haven't heard anything on the Rescue Corgi in a few days.  If you are interesting, feel free to contact Jenny at :

Hi Norma, Thor is very cute!  Patty monitors the group and I'm sure she will get back with you soon but I know the group loves to have new members.  Its a great community and the owners are all wonderful.

Hello there - i hope you'll welcome me to your group.  I live in Redwood City, and my husband and i just adopted an 11-yr old Pembroke Corgi named "Thor" on January 1 from Sebastopol (he came from Golden Gate Pembroke Welsh Corgi Rescue) - I'd love to meet other corgi parents along the Peninsula and have Thor meet up with other friendly doggies.  He's a little shy, but very friendly with people and nice dogs.

Just reminding everyone that it is the 5th Saturday, so we'll be at the Shoreline Dog Park in Mountain View, small dog side, at 10 a.m. this Saturday!

I will not be there. If anyone is interested, I will be showing two of my cats at a CAT SHOW (Yes, a cat show!) at the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. In addition to all the purebred cats, cat shows often have a 'Household Pet' category, for just the generic pet cat rather than the purebreds, and that's where my therapy cat Mokey and another cat of mine will be shown. If interested, stop by! We'll be showing both days. Show info here:  http://www.tailsandnotales.com/

Now, if you are saying 'Cat show? Why would I want to go there????', well, there's also a dog show this weekend too, up at the Cow Palace in SF. :)  However, this is one of the very few benched shows across the country so you cannot bring your dog if not entered. For more info:  http://www.goldengatekc.com/   Unfortunately I will miss it because, duh, I'll be at the cat show.  :)  However, it's a great place to meet breeders of both types of corgi...

So, it's the weekend for shows!!!!

-Patty & Frodo and Crystal, CWCs, and the kitties (two of whom are saying, "WHAT are you doing to us this weekend???")

I just recieved this message from Jenny on the Corgis:

All dogs have foster homes right now but will need permanent homes. We will have 12 in Sebastopol so let me know if you know of anyone.

Jenny jbender@cmsa.us

I've asked her if he has any details on the dog like health condition, age, color etc.  Will wait to see how she responds and post information when I get it!
