Hi everyone!  New here :)

My pembroke's name is Yoshi and we live in Wauwatosa.  We frequent Currie dog park every once in a while.  Yoshi has still not met another corgi and we would love to participate in a meetup sometime!

South Shore Park is on Lake Michigan on the south side of Milwaukee.
Google South Shore Park Milwaukee and you will find lots of info. The market goes up until the end of October, I think. I know we usually get pumpkins there. Tomorrow (Sunday 10/6/13) there is a doggie parade on Brady Street in MKE starting at 11:00. I think there is an entry fee which is a donation to the Humane Society. We may go check it out if weather permits. During summer months, Humboldt Park (Oklahoma & Howell Avenue in MKE) has a Tuesday evening free concert series called Chill on the Hill. We usually go every week and bring Sophie with. She LOVES it! Lots of people, esp. kids, like to pet her and give her treats that I supply just for that purpose. Keep it in mind for next year, if they continue it.

The South Shore Park Farmers Market on Saturday mornings is very dog-friendly (on leash) and we have met several corgis there. Be prepared to stop several times for admirers to pet your buddies! There are (human)food and coffee vendors there, too, in addition to the fresh produce. We try to get there at least every other week.

Do any other Corgis ever go to Currie dog park ? I have only ever seen a cardigan there, would love to see how Lily interacts with other corgis.

Hi guys! I just wanted to let everyone here know (in case you aren't a member of Cheesehead Corgis), that there is a WI Corgi Picnic planned for Sept. 8, 1-5pm at the Jefferson County Dog Park Small Dog Area. I have posted the details on the front page of MyCorgi, so feel free to RSVP. We will have breeders and trainers on site as well as a Raffles For Rescues (ticket price is $1=1 ticket, $5=6 tickets). the price of admission is $5/dog which is paid to the Jefferson County Parks & Recs (there is a sign in and drop box as you enter). We also ask that you bring a dish to pass.
