Fandom is a term used to refer to a subculture composed of fans characterized by a feeling of sympathy and camaraderie with others who share a common interest... Members of a fandom associate with one another, often attending fan conventions (such as science fiction conventions), and publishing and exchanging fanzines... The term is sometimes associated with anime/manga; serious fans of this subject are also called otaku. A person with a devotion to something in a way that places him or her outside the mainstream (Geek).

Hi, all. My data dog, Liliput, has consumed just about every essential component of my PC, including the cord for the cordless mouse (clever little bitch!) But her crowning achievement was attaching herself to the internet connection (by chewing thru cable) and downloading the entire internet into her brain. Hows THAT for a geeky corgi? We live in awe.

We also have Rock Band Corgis. Pandora does not like when we drum. She hates the bass pedal.

Whoo, go Rock Band corgis! Mine just better not sneak under me while I'm drumming :p

Here is my daughter's post RE Persona 4...

I got P4 for Christmas, and I've been enjoying every minute of it~ I got P3 last year, and I love what I've played of the series--it's a totally unique series, and completely underrated. Not many people know about it, it seems, but I've seen nothing but positive reviews from both magazines and my peers, and of course I think it's a great series. I'm not not far--only on Rise's dungeon (around floor 7, I think)--but I'm looking forward to completing it (even if I did accidentally spoil part of it for myself when I went to Wikipedia to look up a voice actor. DON'T DO IT.) I'm really loving the story thus far--totally different from P3, but still great. My favorite characters are Yosuke and Kanji, and I also like Adachi as well.
But when my mom said that someone mentioned P4, I thought "how cool!" because, like I said, it seems like no one knows what it is. It's not one of those over-hyped series like Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, or Halo that you read about everywhere, but I like it better than all those (I feel the same way about the Tales of series as well, another fairly obscure J-RPG series. Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Vesperia are my favorites!).

My husband's all about Left 4 Dead, but I've been really into an obscure Japanese RPG, Persona 4. Very cool and unique, if you like wacky J-games.

I <3 Assassins Creed as well. It still stands among my favorite Xbox 360 games. Nothing like sneaking out of the shadows and killing your target with silent speed and vanishing into the same darkness. Of course, I was getting spotted most of the time and running for my life. =)

Assassin's Creed was one of our favorite games. I loved climbing the high towers and then doing a swan dive. I should get it out again.

We just got a 360 for Christmas and one of the games we got was Assassin's Creed. It's actually very fun and a very neat looking game.

We just started Little Big Planet today and it is a blast! May take over Left 4 Dead. My fave game right now is Rock Band, but I love to sing and pretend I'm a star.
