When we adopted Gretzky he was a "City Boy" that rarely went for a walk but now
is a Corgi Who Camps! He has camped in Wisconsin and Minnesota. This Labor Day week-end he will be camping along the banks of the mighty Mississippi River and loving it.

Where is everyone else camping for Labor Day? We're going to Stockton Laker here in Missouri...I'll try to get better photos this time.

I am so upset!! We have to cancel our Labor Day trip that we go to every year because my husband broke his knee. We have had our reservations at the campground for over 6 months and they are hard to get. Fortunately it appears he won't need surgery but we were really looking forward to it.... Maybe we will do a fall color trip if he is better. Hope you all are enjoying your camping trips!

Just got back from spending a few days in Pollick Pines, CA. We had some happy, dirty, content corgis at the end of the trip. We hiked along the lake, and whenever we got hot we just jumped in and cooled off and then kept on walking. The dogs got great exercise. The more swimming we do the more the dogs enjoy it. I used to have to throw a ball to get them going in, now they go in themselves and just swim around in circles and bite at sticks. Pure dog fun. Forgot the camera though, missed out on some great shots :(

Heading to Traverse City State Park this weekend. There is a family event there and we will go via motorhome so the corgis can come too. The first couple days will be with my daughter and two little grandsons. Should be very interesting! Sparty and Izzy do love camping.

We're headed to Lake o' the Pines this weekend! Blue loved it last time but this will be Memphis' first camping trip. He hates the heat & the water so he may just stay in the 5th wheel.

We no longer tent camp. Now days we don't rough it much but the corgis love traveling with us.
