Comment by Rachael McClanahan on May 27, 2012 at 5:32pm: We went on a walk through a local wildlife refuge yesterday. The pups absolutely loved it! They were so much more excited than on our usual walks. There were signs of wild hogs being nearby, but we were making too much noise to actually see any wildlife. I wish we could actually go camping in that area, but they close it off at sunset :( We're getting a late start on the year, but we are planing our first camping trip of the summer. It will be Dante's first vacation, so I'm excited!

Comment by Keri&Merlin(Judy&Alan's Pups) on May 26, 2012 at 7:32pm: @Bev L:Funny You said that about the dog bowl weekend.Our corgis were the only dogs in the redwood park last visit.That is until a Jr Hi group showed up with an unneutered male pit bull,which ran around off lead.Love pittie,My sister has one,but come on.Marking everywhere!!Oh well,corgis had a blast chasing ground squirrels and bluejays.Hope Your weekend is going great :).

Comment by Keri&Merlin(Judy&Alan's Pups) on May 24, 2012 at 10:49pm: Yay,Bev!Glad You're headed out.We went last weekend,got home Wed.Our favorite park closes from Oct - May due to the river flooding in there every winter.Beautiful foliage comes from all the water and replenishes the soils.We'll have pics when Hubby gets time to download them.Hope Your fur babies are all doing well.Have a great time :)!!

Comment by Keri&Merlin(Judy&Alan's Pups) on May 12, 2012 at 5:56pm: Kinda haven't commented on the camping site for awhile,but We have still gone out at least once a month thru Winter.Our favorite place up in the redwoods opens up this Monday,so We're headed up there real soon.Got exciting news from the powers that be,that My Hubby is going to be able to retire in August!!We were all set in 2010 when all heck broke loose and had to postpone.So,91 days until We can take much longer RVtrips.Gonna be hard to wait.

Just got back from camping at Table Rock State Park. Great Weather! We're somewhere between Bev and John....just a tent trailer, so good weather is a help. The corgi girls had a great time wading in the lake.
