the odd sounds are in full force at my home now. We got an english bulldog/basset hound mix and when the two of them play together, they're so loud that you can barely hear the tv. there's alot of normal growling, but there's also a heavy dose of guttural howls and sharp yips.

I've only had my Corgi a few months. I didn't know they all made sounds like mine! that's so cool! Now I know it's just a Corgi thing. Lol. I will never forget the first morning that we all woke up together and Bailey made that little Chewbacca sound. Cheech and I both turned around we'll quick like, what was that?! Since then it's the cutest sound I've ever heard!! I wish I could teach her to make that sound on comand.

I just joined this site and this group. I have 4 Corgis representing 4 generations. The two oldes don't yoddle, but the granddaughter and her son both do it. I didn't know what it was called until another Corgi person told me it is called yoddling.

We also have "Sing Along" at the house where my husband and I will start getting Micah excited and then start howling so she can join in. She doesn't always get the idea, and makes these really loud, sharp YIP and AI sounds (seriously, thats what they sound like.) she also how a great business bark, it doesn't even sound like it's coming out of such a small body. Hubby was surprised the first time he heard it, at first he didn't think it was Micah!

Haha, Liz too. Or sometimes she'll sit there and wait for me to pet her, if I don't she makes this reprimanding "bOW" sound as if she were very disappointed in me. It's so cute.

Micah makes goblin noises. She gets all riled up and excited, then jumps on the bed and rolls around make her goblin noises. I'll have to record it and post a video, because i just can't describe them. She also gives me this little howl/bark if i don't pet her immediately when i walk into the house after work.

My corgi mix Liza barks like a dog five times her size..it's really odd to hear that big sound come out of her small body. Also, when my father plays the harmonica for her she loves to sing along with anything from high pitched wails to short yaps or long soulful "booooooows" :)
