Help, strange limp?!

Started this discussion. Last reply by Emily & Cooper Apr 11, 2012. 8 Replies

Okay, so Cooper, who has never limped in his short life, all of a sudden limps after he goes on walks (medium to long length walks) and after running or playing at the dog park or in the back yard.…Continue

Cooper just got neutered this afternoon and ever since I got him back he has been shaking uncontrollably . The vet said it could be a reaction to the anesthesia, but it doesn't seem a very good…Continue

Okay, so this isn't my Corgi, it's my Mini Aussie, but perhaps someone may have some advice. We have had him for a year and ever since he has slept through the night, even as a small puppy. Typically…Continue

Cooper is a 11 week old male Pembroke Welsh Corgi and he is extraordinarily calm for his age. He doesn't nip, or chew what he isn't suppose to, he will play tug and fetch but he will not roughhouse.…Continue

Corgi's Rock!

Corgis have a heart of gold! I have never met a Corgi that wasn't smart, good natured, and uncannily aware of their surroundings. They have this magic ability to understand the appropriate behavior for any situation! My dog Cooper went to the airport with me and he was wonderful! He behaved like a little human that had been flying many many times! he wasn't scared, he wasn't excited, he was just perfect. I am yet to meet a Corgi that was a problem dog. I am sure they are out there but I…

Hi!  Your Corgi is just too cute for words!  Well... our rescue didn't work out.  We had him one night and he really didn't like our other dogs.  I think we are going to have to get a puppy.  I think he needs to start out as a puppy with our dogs.  I was hoping to rescue but it didn't work out.  We are going to check out another puppy tomorrow.  It appears they are all sable.  I'm trying to find some more information on that color.  It's hard to find the color they will be based on the puppy color.  I just love the color of your little guy.  I think mine is going to be called Kevin. :)

I love Cooper:)  We have a Pembroke as well and our boy is 9.  He's a mellow boy yet has his moments where he can run and play.  I think they just feel loved and don't pretend to be something they're not.  Our boy loves to ride in our Mini Cooper:)  Enjoy!

AZ Cactus Corgi Rescue is a great, if small organization and well worth supporting.  Vicki Combs runs it and is bonkers for Corgis and utterly devoted to rescuing them.   Gromit and I will be at the picnic, it's the pinnacle of our fall social season.  :-)

Emily,  If you have not found it already, there is an Arizona Corgi group here on MyCorgi.  There will be a Corgi picnic in the Phoenix area sometime in October.  It is sponsored by Arizona Cactus Corgi Rescue but the date has not been set yet.  It would be quite a haul up there for you but the event always has a great turn out of 40 - 50 Corgis and their Corgi mad owners.

Hi Emily, to answer your question: Casa Grande is about 40 miles south of Phoenix and 60 miles north of Tucson. It's a wild an exciting place like Sierra Vista!
