We just love cowboy bebop! I've wanted a corgi ever since I started watching, when it first aired on adult swim. It really is surprising how many eins there are! I had thought about naming my girl after one of the characters, always thought I would, but none fit her the way Bonnie does!

It wasn't until yesterday when i joined this site that I noticed how many others had the same idea on naming their Corgis' >_< Oh well.. nobody local seemed to have the same idea..lol

It wasn't until after we'd named Ein that we realized how many other people had this idea lol so now it would appear we've got a dog with an extremely common name, but it suits him so well!

I've always been a huge corgi fan, herding is one of my faves to watch at the dog shows, and always have cheered for them and malteses.

When we got our Cardi, we wee't sure what we'd name him, but our intrepid daughter saw that he is basically the same KIND of dog as Ein on Bebop and she started callin him and he responded... can't ague with either the logic of a 5yo or an almost instant recognition of the name,

Cowboy Bebop is what sparked my interest in PW Corgis! For years I have wanted one and finally had the opportunity to adopt one! He is actually a PW/Mini Aussie mix, but he is still a cute little bugger!

I couldn't get my fiance to go along with Ein but we settled on her grandpa's middle name which is Albert. Ein was short for Einstein IIRC, so Albert is close enough!

we got our data doggie a gold medalion and a red collar so he can look more like ein :)

I had always wanted a Pem, and when I heard about Cowboy Bebop having one, I went out and bought the entire series. When I finally got my Pem, of course I had to name him with a Cowboy Bebop-themed name, so I named him Radical Edward Einstein. ^_^

I got my Ein just bc I saw it on Cowboy Bebop and had to get one.......... and he is curious just like the cartoon!!!!!

I must admit...Cowboy Bebop is totally what turned me and my boyfriend on to Corgis!! We got our little girl last week, and my boyfriend was set on naming her Ein (he says Ein was a girl and this was discussed in the episode where they get Ein...I can't remember lol) but I thought it would get tedious explaining time and time again to strangers that Ein is a girl, so we named her Bailey. lol. Also, my boyfriend is a big time CAT person so the only dog he was interested in was an Ein!! lol.
