No animal feeding at the lodge.  I don't think I have ever been to the Hoop-De-Doo Review.  I think we have tried, but can never get in.  (It's hard for me to plan that far out!)

Can you feed the animals at Animal Kingdom Lodge?  I have eaten at Hoop-De-Doo at Fort Wilderness. I had to make reservations six months ahead of time. But it was good. Have not gone to Wolfgangs as many times as I walked by

Judy & Alan--I also love the Animal Kingdom Lodge.  It is so peaceful to watch the animals while sitting on the balcony.

Steve-I have never eaten at a place where you pick your own steak there--sounds fancy!  I have been to Le Cellier in Epcot, which I would highly recommend, but if you want to go there, you have to plan way ahead as they are usually booked up at least 6 months out.  There is a Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney.  One of my favorite restaurants at Downtown Disney is Wolfgang's.  There is an upstairs "fine" dining and a downstairs casual.  Both are a treat.  Best butternut squash soup.  The Prime Time Cafe is a lot of fun-decorated in 1950s kitsch iwth old TVs showing old black & white clips & the servers talk to you like they are babysitting you--you get in trouble if you put your elbows on the table, if you don't eat your veggies, etc.  One of the servers (I think she goes by Mama) will pull out her famiily photo album.  The Sci Fi Dine In at the Studios is also themed--like a drive in move that shows old sci fi clips and don't know if it's still like this, but last time I ate there the tables were like little cars (not really conducive for conversations, as if you had 4 in your group, 2 would be looking at the backs of the other 2), but also fun.  (You may notice that dining is one of my favorite activities!)  I have seen the Samantha Brown show on Disney-I usually watch all those Disney travel shows.

It seems to me that I remember a tv show with Samantha Brown on the Travel channel and she had a program just on DisneyWorld. It has been a few years since that has been on. Help me remember Sandy

Also when I stayed at the Contemporary I did not stay in the main building, or where the train went though, I stayed in a wing that was far away. Liked it just the same.

I dont think that I have eaten at the Prime Time Cafe, but I have eaten at this one steak house that you picked your cut of meat and they cooked it for you. Really had to dress up for that. And the best place that I liked was the Rainforest I think in downtown. Correct me if I am wrong.

It's at Beaches and Cream at the Yacht and Beach Club.  I have never ordered one because I have a thing about sharing food (especially ice cream) with people, but I have been there when one was ordered and it was presented with much hoopla and fanfare.  I have seen it twice and the first time, the kid who did the little speech was very animated and it was a lot of fun to be a part of.  Have you ever eaten at the Prime Time Cafe at Disney Studios?

You will like it at Christmas. You will have to excuse me if I do not get this right because I am going completely by memory so bear with me for this example. There is a place that you can get desserts and they seerve one called the "kitchen Sink" that has all flavors of ice cream and is more than ten gallons big. It also has brownies and other treeats. Tell me it you remember that.
