I hate that Gracie isn't 100% yet!  I think you are probably right to have a look in there and make sure the tape isn't causing any other internal problems.  I still can't believe how one has to make a dog-proofed home just a carefully as a baby-proofed one. A baby might get a hold of a tape but won't eat it.  Thanks for the update! Prayers coming your way!

Please keep Gracie in your prayers.  She still isn't quite right.  She has still had a couple of vomiting episodes last night.  The vet thinks she may still have some tape stuck in her.  If she isn't better tonight, I will have to bring her back in tomorrow.  May have to do some exploratory surgery to see if there is something in there.  I hate this so much for her. :(

Hey Corgi friends.  We will need to plan a gathering some time - when the weather cools off.  Right now it is too hot to do anything!  I hope that all of you are doing well.  I live in the Lawrenceville area if anyone wants to plan something.  But, we will drive too!  Herding or agility would be lots of fun!

Leanne, I don't know if you are looking for another rescue or not.  I know that there is a lady that lives near me (near Buford) who is hoping for a litter soon.  Let me know if I can introduce you all.  I am chatting her up for a puppy for my cousin :)

Hi, just joined MyCorgi and the Georgia group. Have always thought of myself as "corgi crazy". Glad to see all you other "crazies". Looking for another Corgi. Have had 3 - all Pembrokes and all "rescues" - one was a female adult from a puppy mill, one from Petsmart, and one from a young family who didn't really appreciate what/who they were getting. First two have passed from old age and renal failure, respectively. Third, young male, was not a great match for us after we got guardianship of two toddlers. So, after all that, looking for a Corgi who would love to live in the mountains with two boys (almost 4 and 5 now), a "mom" and a "dad". I am self-employed and work at home most of the time. Keep us in mind if you would.

Hi Monty's Mom. Welcome to Decatur. I live close enough to Decatur to have a Decatur address so maybe Monty will cross paths with Mickey and Belle. But not until the weather cools off.

Monty's Mom,

The good news is that there are plenty of corgi families here!  The bad news is that we don't get together all that much.  I just think people are very busy.  I know that if someone plans it, we will try to be there (hint, hint).  By the way, Decatur is great and we would happily travel there if the outing ended in lunch at a dog-friendly eatery.  Decatur has a unfair amount of great restaurants.  Lucky you!!

We are moving to Atlanta in early August!! We have had a great time going to Corgi meet-ups in Virginia and wanted to see if the Corgis in Atlanta have meet-ups too. We will be near Decatur and look forward to meeting some Southern friends both human and furry!
