So...new to this group. I have a (9 3/4) and corgi sticker on my car so I think I'll fit right in!!! We should start a riot to get Universal to allow dogs instead of children into the park for a weekend... Just a thought ;)

@Jane, what we did was go to the HP part right away at the early part (we were waiting when the gates opened), then when they let the rest of the world in, we checked out the rest of the part (there are 3D rides and lots of shows....our daughter doesn't do rollercoasters either). The we went back a couple of hours before closing when it had calmed down. Seriously, as an example, we were there 2 days. The first morning, we did Ollivander's wand shop first (walked right  in) wandered through shops, then went over to the big Hogwarts ride, waited maybe 20 min. Rode it again right away, maybe 30 min wait.  When we got off of it the second time, the rest of the people were let in, and the sign said the wait for the HP ride was 3 and a half hours. Yikes.

Thanks for the info! I was actually just looking at those hotels, I think we would definitely do that since it's the main thing we want to see. I don't do rollercoasters so I'm not sure how much time we'd spend in the other parts of the park lol.

Jane, it is ABSOLUTELY worth it to book through Universal and get one of their Wizarding World packages. If you do, you get in early, and that is PRICELESS. We couldn't believe the difference before/after they let everyone else in!
Also: drink Butterbeer.

Hey there, my fiance and I are thinking of going to see the Harry Potter theme park in universal orlando this fall - has anyone else been? Any tips? I assume we'll probably get there really early to try and avoid some crowds, but does anyone know how much time we would realistically spend there? We're going to be travelling to another city afterwards so I'm just trying to figure out our timeline. :)
