This is the photo of Jeter being Harry Potter. He wears Gryffindor inspired robe, tie, corgi version of sorting hat - cuteness added :) , and glasses. He also has the scar. I made the pumpkin bag,too.

so....have all the members of this group seen Chris and Andrew's super cute Harry and Luna costumes? He's posted on the front page about the contest he entered them in.....the pipe cleaner quibbler glasses on the "Luna" costume are extra cute!

Re:the Jim Dale CDs. I got most of our for Kira from our public library. Especially for the later books they tend to be pricey (we bought Deathly Hallows for her so she wouldn't have to wait) and it was nearly $100. The library might have a waiting list but you'll save serious $$$$

@Niki Firmstone,

I got my CD's at Barnes & Noble Bookstore. . .you'll have to listen to them, they are superb. . . .you might find them on Amazon.com too.

J.K. has such an amazing imagination I can only guess how her mind must have been working to create such a masterpiece like Harry Potter. . . . .

I'm re-reading the series for the 5th time at least...they all have something special. Each time I marvel at Rowling's attention to detail and the tiny plot hooks she throws in...like the off-hand reference to the locket in The Order of the Phoenix. Brilliant!

Do any of you know where we can find nub-sized house robes for Halloween? (Gryffyndor and Ravenclaw, of course : )

WhiteDove, I haven't heard the CD"s by Jim Dale, I'll look for out for them though. He sounds like a great storyteller.  We still need people with that craft. We have a steam train here in our local town that does the whole dress up thing for the Wizard Express, shame I can't take my girls on board.
