Hello everyone! My middle corgi, Tasha, finally certified as a Therapy Dog International emotional therapy dog and did her first official visit this morning at a skilled care facility in Williamsburg! She visited the rooms of six residents, greeted staff in the hallways, agreed to corgi belly rubs and generally captivated all who spent time with her this morning. Our dogs are a blessing in so many, many ways! Corgi hugs and kisses from: Bear, Tasha and Linus in Williamsburg, VA!!!

I also have fibromyaglia. The dogs get me out and about with meetups and going to dog parks.

I also have rhuematoid arthritis. Most days it is pretty well under control, but the dogs are such great companions. What I find most helpful is that they keep me cheerful-it is hard to sit around and feel sorry for yourself when they exhibit such joy in just "being"!

Just read about your dad. Has Puki been through basic obedience training? The most important thing, if Puki will be with your Dad, is being able to be quiet when necessary and not jump, nip/bite. You'd be surprised how just spending time with Puki will help your dad.

Hi, I just read your message (I sent this to your page, as well). I am so sorry to hear about your Dad! I hope he is hanging in there. It would be great to read Sylvia and Timmy's story here. Also, you could contact Sylvia and Timmy for more information about therapy; I think they are the experts on this site. Take care, Joy and Butter
