If she is the type to get excited about getting to go somewhere, you might consider bringing her but maybe keeping her on leash and if she gets overwhelmed again there is the large walking trail to walk her on for a bit until the others get some of their energy out and try bringing her in again. Just gauge her reaction and be prepared to take her out of the situation if she becomes stressed. Just my 2 cents.

I need some advice. Our new addition, Gracie has only been to a dog park one other time. (She is a year and a half and we have only had her for 3 months) The last time we went to the dog park she seemed very overwhelmed by meeting all the new dogs at once. She got very nervous (showing her teeth and barking) when more than one dog would approach her. She seems to be fine as long as she can see our other dog, Elwyn, but he likes to run around and do his own thing and won't hang around to comfort her. Should I bring them both to the meetup or just Elwyn since he is fine around other dogs. I would hate to leave Gracie at home while we were out having fun, but I don't want her to scare anyone either. What do you guys think?

Sounds like a plan, I have cheesy doggie prizes if you guys want to have a little costume contest. No pressure, but I know a lot of you have costumes and it would get you a little more mileage out of them. If 9 is good for everyone we can do contest/photo, then let them run and get dirty! JanRich is right, it's a wonderful park and soooo worth the drive!
