Wellness is a good brand.  Humane Society in Milpitas uses it for all the puppies.  I use Blue Buffalow for Bella.  I like it because it's wheat free and Bella seems to love it.  Best wishes for you and your new puppy!

Hi everyone!  I found mycorgi.com a few days ago and this group a few minutes ago.  I'm dying for a Corgi meet-up.  I live in Chico, CA....I know there are Corgis up here I've heard rumors :)  Hunny and I are so happy to be part of this group!

We're in Antioch as well.  I'm not aware of any dog parks in Walnut Creek, but there's a very nice dog park in Concord--I believe it's called Turtle Creek.  They even have dog "mixers" there where owners have cheese and wine....

 

There's also a pretty decent dog park in Brentwood, and of course, there's the rocky dog park near Black Diamond Mines.  Actually, speaking of the mines, that's a great place to do some hiking with dogs as well.

Tasha and I are in Antioch.  Are there any dog parks in Walnut Creek? Big event is in November - the Corgi Faire and is held in Dixon. We went last year when Tasha was only a few months old.  This year I think she will be able to do some of the games. Last year she got a prize in the costume contest which is only even we enrolled her in. She was stunned (we think) to be walking amid like 200 corgis who for the most part looked just like her. It was a fun day.
