Did you find him?

For anyone near Rincon (East of the savannah area): Brewster is missing tonight.  Been looking for two hours.  He has been inside all day because of the rain.  He went out in the back yard for awhile.  He has not got out before.  Neighbors seen him in the front yard a couple hours ago.  We are new to Georgia, I have posted on Craigslist, called animal control (closed for the night).  Any advice on what to do next??  Thank you.

Dino lives in PTC is that close enough?

Sounds fun!  I am up for going to canine ranch again but we would need to get a few more people.  It sounds like half herding and half agility wound be a fun thing to do.  Just so it is not exactly like last time.  Herding was so much fun and we could get a taste of agility.  I am willing to set it up if we have some other people interested.  Anyone else?

Btw, we went to Ellijay earlier in July and stayed up in a cabin there.  They allowed us to bring the dogs.  We had a great time!

Hey gang. It has been a while.  The summer has been so hot and miserable!  We hardly get out at all.

I would love to have another get together for herding or agility at The Canine Ranch.  Something in the Fall, when it gets cooler would be great!  Maybe we can coordinate something.  My pups aren't crazy about water either but would love to herd (or eat sheep poop! :) ).  It would be great fun!

I have had a message on Facebook today from a local lady looking for a mate for her in-heat Pem. You all are the only corgis I know around here. Is anyone interesting in getting her information from me?

To everyone who is interested.... We had such a good time herding last time at the Canine Ranch in Waleska, I emailed the coordinator for other options to do at the Ranch and this was her reply:

Hi Avery,

Absolutely --  I would suggest half / half ...So what if you do an hour
on the lure and
an hour herding?    Or an hour on the lure and an hour swimming - and
you
can always do more or less as the dogs like it.    Based on humidity
levels, I
would recommend that you do an evening event instead of a morning,
because dew levels are higher in the am and I don't think the dogs will
last as
long...

Let me know what you think. Glad to see you guys coming back! CR

The half herding and half lure/agility sounds fun to me.  I don't know about yours, but my corgis are not big swimmers.  Lucy would prefer not to get anything but her tootsies wet and Rosebud likes to get up to her chest but not actually swim around.  But, we can do that option too if people are interested.
Who would like to go?  I can arrange this if we have enough interest.

Hey Cindi.  I am doing ok here, a few branches and small tree down but not bad.  Not too far from me, maybe a mile, my coworker had his house hit by a tornado but they are all ok thankfully.  Rosebud was a little freaked out during the tornadoes and came and laid on top of my head.  She is not normally storm phobic.
