I moved to US last year from my home country Indonesia ( if you ever been to Bali then you officially visit my home country expect in on Bali but other city which is Surabaya)
I know Pembroke last January when i walked in Japan town in SF, i saw this wonderful creature that have unique body and that moment last on my mind quite long time. Then i do some research and learn how to take of them.
There you go, Louie came in to our lived. Me and my husband loved him as a child but never forget that he is a dog in the first place.
I'm a new dog parent so maybe i need to learn alot of thing, please don't hesitate to correct and give me a heads up.
PS : Mind me of my weak grammar. I'm still learning by doing method ;)

He is tri color Black, tan, white Pembroke . Love meeting new friends!
Look on the Blog part of the main page under Warning: Knuckle bones are not safe. I just posted pics of Randy and Reese with large rawhide retriever rolls. I tell where to get them. There are smaller ones for smaller dogs. The particular brand is considered very safe. An article on there says that the thick rawhide rolled tightly is good and largely safe for dogs to chew on.

I'm glad your baby is growing but sad also. They are so precious as babies. As I indicated Randy is huge. He is bigger than the average corgi. I got him neutered when he was 24 weeks old as a lot of people thing it is better when they are about 6 month old and start exhibiting typical male behaviors. Randy is an alpha so I didn't want any more dominance issues, although he is still a sweet baby, he still wants things his ways. Actually, we have had Reese over a year, we got her Sept. 9, 2011. She is a sweet girl but was from a rescue place that didn't have the money to properly care for them so I ended up having to treat her for ear, urinary tract, hook worm, heart worms and had a hernia surgery repair for her. She is well now and more quite than Randy but she has been worse to tear up toys and Randy didn't even know about doing that. I not longer get toys that can be torn up easily. Since she was probably hungry a lot before I got her she always wants to eat so I am always searching for chews that will take a long time. Randy loves her but would like for her to run around and play more but she doesn't do much of that. They are doing well. Randy was so lonely without another dog so he is satisfied even though she doesn't play as much as he wants.

I have missed seeing pics of Louie. Is he still handsome?
Thanks very much for the gift. I didn't realize you were from GA. Did you know that there is a big dog show near the Atlanta Airport next week? It is for 4 days. My breeder will be showing for 3. I will have to wait to go to Montgomery which is closer in Nov. to see some of her dogs.
Hey, I am glad to be helpful! I am sure Louie (it is your pup's name, right?) will love it! Remember to introduce the crate with all positive approach, and block half of the crate so he doesn't have the chance to pee at one end and sleep at the other. This will make your housebreak very easy!
