I would like everyone who becomes a member to please introduce yourselves and the profession you are in or how you may assist members in this group. This is the perfect timing to brag a little here. Let us know what you've done for the community concerning dogs, helping unfortunate dogs, or just the general well being of dogs.

Does anyone know where there is a corgi rescue close to Zanesville, OH? or even around the columbus area?

Hello, I'm Adrienne, I also go by Ada. I grew up with having pets all my life. I have 2 PWCs, Kupo and Naomi, I also have 2 mutts, Calliope and Jewels, whom I consider all my kids, and I love them dearly. I went to school and became a registered medical assistant right after high school and worked in the health profession as a phlebotomist, which I enjoyed, but my heart wanted me to work with animals. So I decided to follow my heart and go that route instead, so I put the 2 things that I love together, medical+animals. I've worked with animals professionally for 5 years now. Volunteered then worked with a local veterinarian in my area, I have 3+ years working in a kennel. I now work at a hotel/dog day care which is fun, I don't consider it work which is awesome and I am going to school to become a certified veterinary technician. I now know that I can not imagine a career/profession for myself that does not involve animals. It's what I know, it's what I love. I recently became a PWC breeder. When I fell in love with the PWC, I read up about the breed, history, everything about the PWC. So when a puppy goes home, not only do I make sure they will go to good loving homes, but I also make sure that I educated my customers with some knowledge, facts, tips, puppy care info, and the history of the breed, plus more, basically sharing everything I have learned and experienced.

Hello, I'm Allison and I have an 8-month-old PWC named Heidi. I am hoping to become a breeder, if time and money allows - anyone who would like to correspond who would be able to advise me in this would be welcome. :) Heidi is in her first heat right now, but being so young, I am keeping her secluded. I don't plan to consider breeding until she's gone through at least 2 (if not 3) heat cycles. Professionally I work with an awesome homeschooling program called HomeLife Academy, right now I have a position in the records department. Great to meet other Corgi fanciers!

Thank you for inviting us to the group.
We have three Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Our first two are rescues and the third we purchased from Whimsy Corgis in Idaho. When we are not in the office we are with our corgi babies doing everything with them and them with us. On our down time we hike, kayak, boat, camp, fish, snowboard, wakeboard, biking, motorcycles....If it is outside we do it. We are in Tahoe quite a bit as well as travel to CA throughout the year.

Hi - my husband and I are just getting started on this website. Our two corgis are our very spoiled children. Violet is two - her birthday is October 22 and Magnus is also two, his birthday is January 27. My husband is a nurse who provides services at our local homeless shelter. I'm a health educator working in HIV/AIDS prevention for the Department of Health. Looking forward to meeting more corgi owners!

Hi to all-I have 2 pwcorgis (my 5& 6th) and I am blessed to be able to work with dogs all day-by day I work as a vet tech at a holisticly minded animal hospital-we do acupuncture, chiro, underwater treadmill therapy, massage and reiki on dogs. By night I teach puppy K, Basic I and Freestyle. Me and my 2 dogs love to play at agility and freestyle (love to dance-it's great physical therapy. I am also a nutrition consultant..In between I rehab wildlife (I 'm state and federally licensed), a master gardener, and teach pottery. I'm very blessed to be able to enjoy so many things & creatures in my life.
