Hi and thanks for the invite! My name is Jill, I am a soon-to-be Corgi owner if this crazy snow storm doesn't cancel the flight - my new puppy Josie is scheduled on a flight out of Minneapolis today, to arrive in Indianapolis later this evening!! I currently own 4 other dogs - 2 Great Pyrenees, a Boxer puppy, and a 16 yr. old Miniature Schnauzer. I have a small farm and wish it could be my full time job as I love it here, but I also enjoy my profession. I am a Physical Therapist, and my passion has always been animals so I have incorporated my passion into my profession by starting two therapy dog programs at hospitals where I have worked. My Great Dane Titus, the most exceptional therapy dog, just crossed the Rainbow Bridge in November. He assisted me in starting both of those programs, and provided motivation to so many people who struggled with physical disabilities....there is nothing more heartwarming than to witness a young man with a brain injury, who cannot use his left side, throw a ball with his left hand so he can play fetch with a gentle giant. Dogs in general are God's gift to man as companions, but as I hear it on this site, I am about to have my heart won completely over by a "low rider"! I am so excited to start this adventure!

Thanks for the invitation! While I don't currently own a corgi, I did own one, Sable (aka BooBoo) a few years ago.

Anyway, the blatant corgi propaganda worked on a friend of mine, who is now proudly owned by a Pembroke corgi; they even practice canine freestyle moves!

Her dog's breeder, Alicia, a co-owner of RaeLew Kennel, is highly knowledgeable about dogs and corgis, so if you know anyone in the Washington, DC area who might be interested in a corgi, Alicia is an excellent person to get to know.

HELLO, THANKS FOR THE INVITATION. MY NAME IS RAYLYN. WE CURRENTLY HAVE ONLY 3 CORGI'S IN OUR FAMILY. WE ARE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER FEMALE, BUT HAVEN'T FOUND THE RIGHT ONE. WE TRY VERY HARD TO BREED AND RAISE TOP QUALITY CORGI'S. WE ALSO HAVE CUTTING HORSES. WE HAVE YEARLINGS THAT WE START AND CONTINUE TO SHOW UNLESS WE SELL THEM. WE HAD PROFESSIONAL JOBS, BUT DECIDED THAT WASN'T FOR US. NOW ARE DAYS ARE FILLED WITH CORGI'S AND HORSES. MY KIDS (DOGS) AND I ARE ALWAYS TOGETHER. CAN'T GET MUCH BETTER!

Hi, I 'm not a Pro, but I do dog sitting for the S.D. Corgi meetup group. I really enjoy watching my corgis playing with the other pups. I also do dog sitting for the S.D. Sheltie group. since I have a sheltie also. I will watch them all day, over nite, or on the weekends on their vacations whenever needed. I love dogs.

Hello all! My name is Shell and I am an interior designer/residential project mangager in a small design firm. My corgi Puddin' is truly a character. Everyday she does something to make me and my husband laugh. This fall, I hosted a corgi parade that brought in 50-60 corgis. It was fun to be had by all. Pure silliness. Since we are professionals and love our dogs, are we not "yuppies" but..."puppies"!!!? (Puddin' gets her silliness from me)

Hi, thanks for the invite. My name is Michelle and I've had the joy of sharing my home with 4 corgis over my adult life. After the first one, I was hooked and would never own another breed! We have a tri- color named Bubbles, she is our 1st tri-color we've had. I'm an adolescent substance abuse counselor at a not-for-profit organization and a single mom of three. I'm also very involved in autism awareness as my 8-year-old son was diagnosed with an autism spectrum disorder (Asperger's Syndrome) at the age of 4. I look forward to learning more about corgis!

Hi, thanks for the invite to the group. I guess you could say my contribution to dogs is that I have always had dogs. I currently have 3 dogs - a 15-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, a 4-year-old mixed sheltie/chihuahua, and our newest addition, 4 month old welsh corgi Kona.
I have two professions - I am a high school math teacher, and a filmmaker. Odd combination, I know. Filmmaking changed its status from hobby to profession when my feature film got picked up by a distributor. My latest video endeavors, however, have been of Kona!

Hi I'm Jill and Elvis is my Corgi...Not a professional YET but I'm in my last year of nursing school and will be an RN when I'm finished! I love animals and Elvis is a very strange & comical little dog who keeps me company during my long hours of study :) We also have 2 cats who Elvis tries to befriend but they just tease him in their typical cat like manner!
