kewaunee is just a bit down the road from here. you guys have quite a trip to look forward to. hopefully the snow we have right now will really work on disappearing before then. i haven't heard any more if we are suppose to get any more or how much. our weather is why i don't plan anything travel wise during this time of the year. one never knows what's going to happen. if any mafor talk about storms come up, i'll let you know. waiting for the weather right now. still on the news. i have no idea where elroy is, so can't help on that one. crap, now i have to pull the map and see where it is. will be back.

Hubby's watching the weather-we might only be able to hit one of farms.  It's kind of the last weekend we have free to do this, so even if it's a little snow, we more then likely will be traveling. 

One of the farms is in Elroy-Cleaver Creek Farms aka Irish Thunder. The other is Rock-n-Hill(the LaCrosse's) in Kewaunee, WI.  Both have stallions that go back on the lines David wants or crosses well with our lines.

you should have gone IMMEDIATLY!!!!!!. listen to what the doctor say's. the hounds will understand. cindy- what part of WI? i'm over in green bay, and they say we might get some snow showers fri-sun. but, being wisconsin, that could change in 5 minutes. will check national weather tomorrow and let you know. shelley, take care and no more fights with the shower nozzle.

Shelley's sitting at the urgent care clinic right now having them, finally, look at her ribs.  She had an incident last week with a shower nozzle install that went bad-she crashed and burned, hitting her side on the edge of the tub.  Went all weekend eating ibuprofen like it was tic tacs.

We got a dusting last night.  Just enough to keep the ground hard and no signs of mud!! Yeah-though Pete isn't happy about that part.

What's the weather supposed to be like up your way this weekend? Hubby and I had to reschedule our WI trip to this upcoming weekend.  I really don't want to go if it's crappy out.  Only issue is that this really is the last weekend we can go look at studs because he wants to breed his mare at the end of March.

well, i just dug out the truck. we got plowed out yesterday. according to the weather person, we got 13.4 or 13.6 inches of the white stuff here in green bay. i had to take a broom to get the stuff off the front of the truck, and it was kind of a heavy snow sitting on it. i guess we are suppose to get some more, no idea how much, come this weekend. my brother came thru today and plowed out some paths for the hounds and are they happy. they had plowed out a couple of trails themselves, but it just isn't the same as what the snowblower can do. joker was playing king of the hill. they stayed out a good 45 minutes. how's everyone else doing from the storm? andrea-did you guys ever get snow or just that crappy ice stuff? teresa-did you get the puppy out or did they cancell flights? but, i don't know how much milwaukee was suppose to get if any. everyone take care. any other show news. sounds like cindy and shelley had fun. but- shelley=snow storm. hmmmmmm!!!! glad you got home ok. now you know why i don't plan any shows for this time of the year.

yup got home at 7:25   lastnight , left ames at 11 am so all in all not too bad considering the roads over the border.... at least it wasnt actively snowing untill I hit Cloquet,near Duluth.. lake effect I suppose...  glad I took advise and spent  the night in Ames... as it was it wasnt a pretty site all the cars flying into the ditch... ( stupidity for conditions)  surely not as bad as last night.. would have been..

Just saw I had a missed call on the cell--it was you!  Glad you made it home in one piece, I hate winter more then ever!
