Welcome to the group Heather! I just called Carrie and she said that both girls have found homes!
We are going to plan a get together soon. We were thinking the dog beach in Venice. Would that work for you?

Hello Southwest Corgi lovers! I just moved back to the Sarasota/Bradenton area from Orlando with my two Corgi kids. We are all excited to be back on the west coast. I recently received an email from a Central Florida corgi friend who is trying to find a home for 2 female corgis ASAP. I've copied the email for your review. It broke my heart but unfortunately I've got a full house already. I appreciate your help! -Heather

I received an email from a friend of his who is trying to
rehome two female corgis so the owner will not put them down.
I've included the original email below. If you know of anyone
who would be able t help or is looking for a new addition or
two to the family, please let me know. There were some pics
attached too which I'm happy to fwd to you if they'd help.
Thanks!

Original message:

Hey everyone sorry to bother you but I was looking for some help. I know some people who have 2 small female dogs welsh corgis. They have decided to put the dogs down due to personal reasons, I have asked that they give me some time to see if I can find them a home because they are excellent dogs. they do not have to go together and they are free to a good home. I have more photos of both the dogs if anyone needs more. Please if you know ANYONE who may be looking for a new friend and family member please help me. Feel free to give my email or cell phone out to anyone who would like more information on either of them. thank you.

Thats awesome. We actually won our classes from the Fisherman's Village expo. If we like it (looks like we will) we want to keep him in classes and get his Good Citizen eventually.

Hopefully we'll see you there. I would like to keep training with Molly there. Everyone is so nice there! The staff is great and the other people are so understanding. They will answer any question you have. If you are struggling with something, they are there to step in when you get that look on your face.

You'll have fun!

How funny! We start puppy classes for Kirby at the PRDF at the end of July. Glad to hear a good review before we go.

Peace River Dog Fanciers is a group in Punta Gorda. They have all level of training classes available. Molly and I started puppy classes just a few weeks ago and they are great. They start with puppy classes, then basic obidence, advanced classes, and then move on to tracking, therapy dog, etc. It's great. let me know if anyone wants more information and I'll pass it along.
