Spoiled Rotten Corgis

For all the corgis out there who are doted on by your families, get your own way, and are basically spoiled beyond belief. I would love to hear your stories.

Good point Chris! I hadn't hought about it that way...I just keep saying Cooper is our velcro boy...
My husband keeps blaming me for all the spoiling however...Recently he and Callie were outside playing fetch with one of the red frisbees when it ended up on the roof. Dad thought oh well he'd get it later and just play with the other red one...Wrong! Callie threw such a fit he had to go get the ladder get on the roof and get the Correct red frisbee...Now tell me WHO spoils?

Corgis are herders and it is their job to stay with the herd, flock or gaggle. When they don't have animals they herd humans. Since Whisper and I moved to town from the farm, she herds cows out the car windows and me all over the place. I haven't been well for a couple of days so if I move she watches over me and herds me back to the couch. I am so glad she's quit nipping at my heels!

You are so RIGHT Chris! I tell my husband this every time he complains! You think he'd learn his lesson too...last week he tried shutting Cooper out of the bathroom! When I got home I had the pleasure of cleaning up the remains of the rug that was destroyed the short time he was in the bathroom! I ask you what's the harm in leaving the door open!

Quixote does not like it when I go to the bathroom. I shut the door, but she jumps on it and pushes it open, comes in at barks at me until I am done going to the bathroom. What is up with that? Its like shes telling me noooo you dont go here, go outside on the grass!!

Thank you friends! It helps knowing I'm not alone!

O thank you I was so afraid I was the only one! My husband just has a fit because we get water on the floor but I keep thinking isn't that why we have tile floor and aren't we moping it. I know I'm an easy touch but I can't help it. I also confess to watching the the kids play sometimes and wind up crying just because I'm so happy just to watch them playing so...

Lori, we just had to put locks on our master bath door for the same reason! I can't get into the tub without Twinkie needing to come in and check on me. Of course, she doesn't know how to close the door behind her when she leaves. I blame myself.
